Dear Livia,

I had your name picked out right
from the time I was 17 years old
and still in high school.
My cousin had a baby girl and
named her Livia. I thought
it was one of the prettiest names
that I had ever heard of.
I knew, right then, that when I
was blessed with a baby
girl, her name would be Livia.
When Sydney came along though,
the name just didn’t suit her.
But the day you were born,
I knew you were my Livia.
