Default Crop-A-Dile anyone?

I have my eye on these thingamajiggers - thinking about asking for one for Christmas. Just wondering if they work well or if there is something else out there that is comparable or better? thanks!

I have both the crop-o-dile and the big bite, cuz I big-puffy-heart tools and gadgets

I like them. I don't use them a ton, but they get the job done really well when I do use them. I would recommend getting the big bite over the crop-o-dile, just for the flexibility it offers. There have been times I've pulled out the crop-o-dile, only to need to punch the hole juuuuuust out of it's reach, and then had to go back and get out the big bite.

I just bought the Big Bite a few weeks ago and I WUB IT! I used a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby!!! Was totally worth it! I used it to punch the holes and set the eyelets in this:

Can't wait to use it again!

I have the Crop A Dile and the Big Bite. I rarely ever use the regular Crop A Dile anymore - mostly the Big Bite. I love it! It allows me to "reach" a lot further on projects and I like that it sits on the table vs. the regular/hand-held Crop A Dile. I don't use it on every single project, but when I need it - nothing else will do!

The Big Bit is a bit pricey, but I used 50% off coupons for both gadgets at AC Moore so that they were more reasonable.

I, too, have both the crop a dile and big bite... I don't use it a ton, either, but it does come in handy for setting eyelets and punching holes. I did find that the crop a dile is a bit too big for my hand spand, so that is where I like the big bite better since I can "push down" on it. I got mine through either
QVC or Home Shopping Network... it came with a case and like a 100 gromets and eyelets... so that might be a place to look.

I have the crop-a-dile and don't have the urge for the Big Bite (of course I might not use the Crop a dile if I had the big bite, but...) I also have several other anywhere hole punches if I need to put something somewhere else.

I am planning on buying the Big Bite tomorrow with a 50% off coupon... but... what is the LARGEST grommet it will install? I need to put grommets into a vinyl sign.

I have a Crop-a-Dile. Love it! The Big Bite came out afterwards, so I don't have it yet. I would buy a Big Bite. Use a coupon at Michael's or other big stores to make it more affordable.

I didn't buy them anymore because I already had an eyelet setter from Making Memories, which is kinda tiring to use but works very well, so I like it. What I find attractive with the Crop-a-dile set is that you can buy it together with a huge set of eyelets! Just imagine, never having to run to the craft store again coz you ran out of eyelets. LOL

I have both the regular and the Big Bite. I'd get the Big Bite, it seriously rocks, I use mine a lot. I never had a problem setting eyelets the old fashioned way but the Crop O Dile is sooooo much better, less mess, goes through cardboard like butter and no banging LOL

I have both and use both - my crop-a-dile is what I personally tend to use more...

I couldn't live without my Crop A Dile especially when it comes to punching through board for mini albums and setting eyelets ever so quietly. I used to teach scrapbooking classes at home and we used to keep everyone awake with all our hammering and banging to punch holes and set eyelets with the regular eyelet setters and punches, so once the CAD was released, most of my customers bought it! I haven't had a chance to try out a Big Bite yet, but I'd say for the amount of times you'd set an eyelet or punch a hole more than 1 inch in from an edge, I'd not have had the need for it anyways. We pay so much more for it in Australia as we don't have the discounts like you guys in the States!

The cropadile is one my most used (and LOVED) tools.
The Big Bite I do not have but would love one.
I use the Cropadile mostly for making mini-books and tags.

I have both the crop a dile and Big Bite as well and love them both! I got the Big Bite through HSN I believe and it came with a ton of grommets and eyelets. Definitely worth the cost! It has a much further reach, so I strongly suggest getting it, I rarely use my crop a dile anymore.
