Default Jogging Strollers?

Anyone have any advice on jogging/all-terrain strollers?

I am hoping to do more walking this year - ok who am I kidding - to walk period! Getting healthy is my major goal for 2011 and I want to be able to go for walks with my kids. My youngest is 3 (on the smaller side) and I think she might get tired quick in comparison to my almost 7 yr old.

I am interested in a jogging/all-terrain stroller but wondering if it would be worth the money? Is there a better brand? Do they fold up the same where it could fit in my trunk if need be? Can you use them inside, for example if I wanted to walk to the mall with her?

Thanks much,
Erin

I am in the market for a double jogger and have been doing a ton of research. I have found that for me, the best will be theBob Revolution. It has a lockable front wheel, necessary for jogging, but can be unlocked for going to the mall, etc. It's also supposedly skinny enough to fit through doorways, so it will be good for shopping. I've read a lot of reviews and this one is supposed to be easy to fold and light weight. HTH!

I have the BOB Revolution single and it is AMAZING. And it fits in my trunk. I drive a VW Beetle. In the interest of full disclosure, I do have to remove one wheel to get it to fit (have you seen the trunk of a VW Beetle?!), but it fits, and is easy to get in and out. The thing maneuvers like a dream and I love it. It's an awesome walking/jogging stroller and is fabulous indoors as well.

I have a Jeep brand that I got at Toys R us... it's a boxy to get in and out of the car... but it handles really well.

I have a double Baby Jogger, and love it! It practically pulls me along. But it's a serious stroller for running/walking with big 21 inch wheels so I don't shop with it or anything. It does fold up if you take the wheels off. We bought it used almost 7 years ago, and it's still works perfectly. I've heard that Kelty's are wonderful too.

I should add that we now have a Baby Trend single jogger and I woluld not recommend it. DS is now 3 years old(got it when pregnant with him) and it's pretty much trashed. I have been very good to it, it just hasn't held up. Part of the harness broke about a year ago, the strap you pull to recline the seat is totally ripped, and where it collaspses has become lose and DS got his poor little arm pinched in it once and it's held together with rivets so there is no way to tighten it.

ETA I have an older version of this one.

We have a Baby Trend double jogger as our every day stroller. We've had for about six months now and I love it. There is plently of room for everything we need when we go to a theme park (diaper bag, plus bathing suits, extra clohtes, rain jackets and a lunch box with a days worth of snacks and water for everyone). Then if we buy anything there is plently of room that too. I've only found two single doors that the stroller couldn't fit through.

I have took my older two running in it and its a very smooth ride. I've had both kids pass out in it while out running. We use it daily for walks with my parents and the seat reclines enough that Lilly can be in it for our walks.

Over all I love it. The one thing I really dislke is how you recline the seats. Its a pain in the butt & doesn't stay completely upright.
