For the boys it is leftover BBQ chicken thighs, macaroni and broc. For the adults it is big salads.

We're doing my chicken strip salad - baby spinach and greens, George Foreman'd grilled chicken breasts, mandarin oranges, walnuts (cause I'm out of pecans), sunflower seeds, poppyseed dressing, shaved carrots and a bit of shaved parmesan.

I've got some chicken breasts in the slow cooker. I'm thinking chicken salad. It's too hot for a big meal.

Got some zucchini in the fridge, i'm thinking of turning those into a soup with tomatoes and shave parmesan. It's pretty cold here and we need something hot for dinner !

Ditto! SICK of cooking!! We are getting to the final stages of packing/moving/showing our rental house so they always have to be quick, easy meals!!! Lots of frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets!!! I can't wait until we move and I can cook real meals again...this "baby" weight loss has hit a stand still b/c I can't eat what I want!!

Depends. If mom stops by then we'll go to Sam's and I'll get a rotisserie chicken. Probably pair that with mashed potatoes, corn on the cob from the farmer's market and green beans from my aunt's garden. If not, probably the veggies and ? (maybe I'd better call mom because the above actually sounds like a plan. LOL).

Today is my hubby's looooooooong day (8 to 8) so it will just be me and the kids. Add in this awful heat and I don't even want to move let alone turn on a hot stove and/or oven and stand over them......so we are having turkey dogs, chips, carrot sticks w/dip and probably some type of fruit!

I'm making a barbecue chicken pizza. It's really too hot to use the oven, but I have a craving and it doesn't take that long to bake.

I have to work tonight, so I may have one of the boys go out and throw some marinated chicken on the grill for me to take. I have some roasted veggies already cooked from last night, and I'll take a baked sweet potato too. Weight watcher friendly!!

I've just had fish and chips, I'd love to say I enjoyed it as apart from toast for breakfast this morning I've had nothing else, but it was horrible!

That's us, too! Sometimes, I just want my DH to TELL ME what he wants, so I don't have to always make the decision!

Not sure what's for dindin tonight. I usually don't cook on Fridays, but we're going out tomorrow, so I'll prolly whip up some pasta salad.

You can bake them without the foil couldn't you? When I make baked potatoes I like to lighlty coat them with olive oil and salt. It makes the skin so yummy. Without foil the skin gets a little crispier. Your soup sounds so yummy, don't let the no foil issue ruin it lol.

Great thread ladies! I'm always looking for dinner ideas. I don't like to cook, but I do like to eat

yeah, you can totally bake them with no foil. My grandmother is so fussy about this, actually. She says that foil wrapped potatoes and actually "steamed" potatoes and if you want a real baked potato, you don't wrap them in anything. I'm like, "Whatever, Grams, I just wanna eat!"

I'm not supposed to have to cook on Friday nights, but DH just went out of town. I wasn't going to cook, but decided that I'd make chicken fettucine alfredo with fresh broccoli for Kennedy and I. Lonely nights and comfort food.

Tomorrow it is totally going to be BLTs and no cooking (other than baking the bacon in the oven).
