Can you believe this year is already coming to a close?! Let's finish things off strong with our final pick of the year: Theo of Golden.
Theo of Golden is a bestselling literary fiction novel by Allen Levi. It follows Theo, a mysterious and kind-hearted 86-year-old man who moves to the small Southern town of Golden. He buys 92 hand-drawn pencil portraits hanging in a local coffee shop and tracks down each subject to return the artwork, exchanging the drawings for their life stories.
This thread is for initial thoughts, expectations, assumptions, etc - I'll be back the second week of June with a list of specific discussion questions for us all to dig into.
Just a reminder that book club is for everyone! Feel free to join us if and when you can - no pressure to keep up with every month... you can also pop in later in the year and catch up on the convo if you're a slow reader or had a long wait to get your copy. It's all very low-key.
If your post includes *spoilers* make sure to use the super cool new spoilers feature so we don't ruin anyone's good time.
And that's a wrap! I'll be back in a couple weeks with our final discussion thread. This year has really flown by! Thanks so much for being a part of this grand experience with me!
