Congrats! Welcome to the world not-so-little precious boy.
Sorry to hear that labor was a tough job for the mom, hope they are doing better today.
Enjoy all the cuddles and that sweet baby smell. Before you know they turn 22 (like my daughter this Sunday..
Thank you. Yes, they are going home today. I look forward to lots of baby time. It is true that they grow up way too fast and so I do what I can to spend time each of my grandchildren every week.

@Robin Carlton, not sure if you changed something, but now the arrow is back...:D (It might be just my laptop or connection, because every now and than I don't have that arrow...).
Edit: as soon as I posted this reply, the arrow was gone... 🤔
It was that way for me then it was back the favorite font post too. Maybe they're working on something? And I'm in my phone.

So sorry France lost from Spain, @Marif.
I'm not really into football/soccer (nor is my husband), so I haven't seen any of the matches. I've been checking the newsapp every now and then. As soon as the first round was over and there were only 32 teams left, I predicted the finals will be between Spain and Argentina... So far, I'm right... lol! Let's see tonight/tomorrow if I'm right about Argentina as well (although I hope England wins... sorry, not a fan of Argentina/Messi). Anyway, Spain wins the finals, so it doesn't really matter who wins today, lol...

I am already getting the end of summer blues. I always hated my birthday but not for the reasons most people have such as "a reminder that I'm getting older not younger". I seriously, not being figurative, do not know how old I am. I quit keeping track after 30. **side story below **
No, I hate my birthday because it's the signal that summer is coming to a close and the next six months will be nothing but misery. Seasonal depression is a very real thing.
I realized today that my birthday is only two weeks away (Aug 2) and now I'm just blah.i haven't even been swimming ONCE!! sigh......

**so not knowing my age got me in somewhat of a snafu with police officers. I didn't have my ID on me and when they asked my age I couldn't give them the answer right off the bat. When I started counting they immediately changed their tone and things got serious fast. I guess that happens often when someone has a warrant or something so I completely understand why and didn't get crappy with them. At that point I had to go to the house to produce my ID. I was thankful I was within walking distance bc I am not entirely sure what would have happened. But lesson not learned... I still don't know how old I am. I have a rough estimate but no exact #

104 is HOT. We will be hot today but not that hot. I am going to stay indoors for sure. I want to scrapbook but I also want to play pickleball (indoor court). I think I'll head out for a bit and move my body then I'll come back and make a page :) Any other pickleball players here?

I also suffer from seasonal depression, and yes it sucks.
That's too funny about not knowing your age, my husband is always rounding up his age and I have to correct him LOL

The weather people are saying the air quality will be bad here in PA because of the Canadian wildfires. I haven't watched the news lately...I just needed a break from ALL of that...so now I feel like I should watch the news tonight to see what is happening in Canada. I hope everyone is ok! And, it's gonna be 100 degrees again tomorrow! Yuck!

It's Thursday - my most work scheduled day of the week - I teach 3 fitness classes and then do a home health RN shift for 5 hours. It is my own fault lol. I used to have some of the stuff on Fridays but then I stacked it all on Thursdays so I could enjoy 3 day weekends and have Fridays off.

I am in Northern California for a week, we left at 9pm and got to my son’s at 4:30am.
Wound up, exhausted, excited to see everyone. It’s a memorial and large family gathering. Some I haven’t seen in ages and some we haven’t met yet.
It’s going to be hot, looking forward to cooling off in a body of water somewhere in the near future LOL

I thought July would be as good a scrapping month as June...but I read a good book that led to me reading the WHOLE series in like 2 weeks! We did buy a new to us car, so that has been nice, but then our working car went to my inlaws because he wanted to fix something....that's been the whole month basically. So even though we bought another car, we are still down a car. My one daughter's car got hit in the parking lot so we are dealing with that insurance thing. And the other daughter who lives in KS has been having a lot of health issues (seeing 6 different doctor's in 1 weeks time!)

So my "nothing going on month" has turned to "a lot going on outside of my computer life". Going to try to scrap a few pages in the next couple days though. Don't think I'll be able to catch back up, but I can at least scrap a few!

Here in MI we are affected seriously! We "saw" it approach yesterday! We went form hot with blue skies, to everything took on a yellow tint! The air smells like someone is burning garbage! I like to open the windows at night to give the A/C units and stand fans a break, but we can't because of the air quality outside!

Praying for all those in Canada who are affected!
