PL 2026...here we go!

I am starting on my JAN 2026 weekly spreads in the hopes of staying current in 2026.

If there is time, I want to work on PL 2025 this weekend too.
Anyone else working on PL this weekend? I would love to see your spreads.

Surprised myself and got so much done yesterday! 2025 is halfway complete.
Keeping my weekly spreads simple is working for me :)

I love how there's so much STORY in these pages. That big journaling block gives you so much space for the details. And the rest of the spread being packed full of photos lets the moments shine.

Way to go getting so much done!

Krista - they look amazing. I love that the week numbers are similar but different and that you have a set way to set them all up. Really amazing!

Thanks! I don't add much journaling in my "other" layouts since there is so much journaling in my weekly spreads.

I'm over here in awe how much you got done SO fast! I have never finished a P52 yet. Looking at your layouts makes me think maybe I'm just WAY overthinking them and trying to make them as decorative and "perfect" as a regular layout. I get to week 15 or something and then lose my mojo every time.

This is how I used to feel...I save all the fun embellishments and creativity in my "other" layouts ;)

I go SUPER super simple these days, and I've just finished my pages for 2025. They are not 'spreads' but a few pages for each month of the everyday stuff that slot in between the fancier, more significant event/happenings type pages for the month in my annual family album. I used Lorie's Family News Album templates (had to fiddle with them a bit to suit my photos) but I like how they turned out... no embellishments and the only papers (I used two for the whole year) are to clip to the heading blocks.

Here's a few pages from throughout the year:

Oh Wow Kim, I truly love that and love that it works so well for the kids as they are older and have more in depth stories with fewer pictures. This is genius!

That's so great, Krista!

I fell off the bandwagon big time this past winter. I had some life happening, but I didn't keep great track of it. I took photos and made notes in my planner, but I let weeks and weeks go by without writing down my journaling. So I've been back-tracking and trying to remember everything. It definitely loses something when I let that much time go by, but I'm almost caught up with it now. I figure that as long as I have photos and journaling done, I can take my time on making the actual pages.

That's so great, Krista!
Great job backtracking! Now that I am trying to stay current, I am realizing it is much easier matching photos and stories with weeks. Next up is the middle of 2025...I tried to work on it this weekend but opted for an easier project.

Woohoo great job!!!

I'm soo behind again as well. I think i'm at week 9/10 or something
