I thought I'd bring back our Sweet Shoutouts thread. 💖


Have you seen a layout in the gallery that really caught your eye?... if so, share it with the whole community!

Show your appreciation for all of the amazing talent here at SSD! Here's how:
  • Share a link to the layout in this thread so we can all enjoy and leave love!! (If you need help with how to link an image in the forum, check out this post from Robin. It's referring to posting in the monthly challenge threads but it applies here, as well.)
  • Be sure to include the username of the person who created the layout you are posting.
  • It would be great if you would tag the person here in the thread.
  • Make sure to leave a comment on the person's layout that you selected their page for a Sweet Shoutout!
  • Give as many shoutouts as you like each month.
  • All are welcome to join in the sweetness!

This one caught my eye by you @SweetChar!! I love all the paper piecing and your beautiful clusters and the cute cartoon characters. Beautiful photos as well!

 
Have you guys thought about copying the code from the new gallery and pasting it here to make it easier to view the images?

I'm happy to have found some time to come here and show you some of the pages that made me sigh this weekend.

@scrappurple I loved the whitespace on your page and this collection is also incredible, but my highlight goes to the black and white photos which created an amazing contrast.



@stormchaser What a phenomenal page! I loved how you told the story, the photos, and how you organized the text. I loved it!



@immaculeah I loved the photos and how cheerful and fun your page turned out. What a beautiful record we have here! I loved it!



@KingsQueen82 This collection is wonderful, I loved how you used the colors and this photo is a 10/10 for me.

I just love everything about her layout. All the layers, colors, clusters, details, shadows are just perfect.

Awww Thank you so much Kel! I just discover this and it just makes my day! I was away from my grand mother's loss and I'm still recovering so not do new layouts but reading this just gives me the wish to scrap again! Thank you so much Kel, I truly appreciate it and feels honored! 🥰

I'm sending you a big hug, after all it's a difficult feeling to deal with, and take your time. You create wonderful pages, my dear, and I love seeing your records of your twins. So when you feel inspired, go back to your scrapbook therapy, okay! I'm sure you'll be featured here many more times. 😍🥰❤️

@AmaneseFe This page definitely needs to be on my featured selection this week; I love the contagious joy it conveys and the contrast of the colors with the black and white photo.



@LynnZant What an explosion of incredible colors! Besides loving the colors chosen, I adored how she brought the template to life. Her page turned out wonderfully.



@Mother Bear Wow!!! Your pages always surprise me with all the clustering you do around the entire page, this one caught my attention and I'm in love, it's perfect!



@farrijc What a wonderful retrospective of the month of March! It made me travel back in time with your memories, and of all the photos, I loved the one with the puppies; I adore dogs. I'm totally in love with your page.

After all the nominations I got from you (thanks!), here are a few layouts that caught my eye in the gallery.

1. The Softest Moment by @bcnatty:

I love the soft colors, the cute photos and the overall design.

2. Teeny Tiny by @CathQuillScrap:

I love the vertical line and that big mushroom on the right.

3. Hooray by @LeeAndra:

I love the colorful letters and that 1 O is a frame with photo. Also love the paint and the little elements/touches.

4. Spring by @Natascha:

I love the colors, the amazing clusters and the papers as a sunburst.
 
I'm back!!! It's become a habit to come here on Saturday afternoons while I relax in the hammock and delight in the new pages of the gallery that keep me happy and inspired.

@SweetChar, I love how everything on the page interacts, the colors, the photos... and you chose the cropping techniques that highlight the birds on the papers in the background. I love how attentive you are to detail.



@immaculeah, I loved the honeycomb template, and the colors you used are so spring-like. I also loved the photos of the flowers with the bees around them, perfect!



@tlowe, I love your pages with family photos, I loved the choice of papers you used here. It's records like this that make scrapbooking so special.



@Cheryl Ashcraft, what an explosion of joy! I love the colors on your page and how you wrote the text to capture this moment, amazing!
