After the weekend where we shared all our other hobbies and collections new & old- I just wanted to share something that I made myself last night! I'm getting ready for a grad party and I'm determined to do as much as possible ahead of time since I know I have work & all the other senior things taking up my time! ;)

I've seen these banners all over and even know a few people who charge $30+ to make one. I KNEW I could do it myself- after spending $5 on paper and $10 on paint- I think it turned out great all things considered! I used some of the paint I had, brushes I already had and can see why good brushes & a projector is the way to go- but I'm still proud of it and my daughter could care less if it was perfect! Win!

also- this trend totally applied I think... 🤣

Any thing you've created lately that you're proud of!?

Cute sign! My husband has been tasked with building an arbor/archway for my daughter's wedding. He loves working with wood, and the thought is 2 fold- it may be cheaper if he builds it himself (but who are we kidding, it will probably be more expensive). Number 2- we have 4 girls, this is the first wedding, I am holding out hope that the other 3 will get married someday, so we could reuse the archway thingy for their weddings too, saving us money in the long run!

I've seen people making these on TikTok with Canva and printing them at Walgreens, because the handmade ones are so popular. You did such a great job! I have no artistic abilities when it comes to drawing things out, but you inspired me to try the canvas/Walgreens version. I just uploaded and ordered it. I'll let you know how it turns out.

LOVE LOVE your sign, Hayden would be so proud!!

I made this for a friend of mine who gave birth to a precious little girl 2 months ago...

Still very happy with my cricut explore. I recently bought and tried pens to make such cute labels like i did on the little jars

And i made this little chalkboard lettering. It was my first time and love how it turned out... lol doing it by hand is harder than maje digital ones with fonts and styles lol

Just adorable!

Amazing sign! It looks professionally done.
I haven't made anything in a while, but my brain is turning about cookies I'll be making for a '70s disco party I'm probably going to attend. I'm thinking tie-dye with peace signs and a disco ball.
I'm making her cupcakes too- but thankfully she's not picky just wants a certain flavor so I don't have to worry about decorating them more than my usual! ;) Tie dye peace sign disco ball sounds SO fun!

Definitely more expensive! lol But if you get 4 uses out of it!? Worth it for sure!

I didn't see THAT version of course- but how awesome to print at walgreens! Let me know how it turns out for sure!

OMG Wendy! SO cute! I love it all!

Fantastic job on the sign! It means so much more that you made it rather than buying it.
The only project I have going right now is working on a Christmas stocking for our son-in-law. I started it in January when I was visiting my friend in Texas. I haven't done much since I got home. There's just too much going on right now. 😵‍💫

Wow such great work!

I've been working on my very own cozy coloring book! It's a huge project but so much fun to design! It should be available on Amazon in a few weeks!

Amie! That looks amazing! I've seen those everywhere and have thought about doing them to sell, but I just can't bring myself to do it lol.

I'm proud that I have started stepping a bit out of my comfort zone and am now offering paint parties as part of my side craft business. I did one on Thursday for 16 women and it was a blast! (The one on the upper left side wasn't quite done yet, but she wanted to be in the photo lol).

This is awesome! I just had pennant banners that said Congratulations for both Olivia and Daniel. I did put more effort in other pieces/decorations. I wish I would have thought ahead to do this to put it on our front porch!

A disco ball cookie!?! I must see one of these!

If it's less expensive, I'd definitely say for him to build it. When my brother got married, they had a metal arch and that thing was so flimsy to hold flowers and didn't really handle a breeze that well.

So it'll be like Amie's but the material is canvas? I've had good luck with Walgreens, not to mention it's like 30 second from my house.

Most of my crafty things are working on my Happy Planner spreads or cards. Here's one of my latest planner spreads (well, the right side of it anyway), from the first weekend of May.

PXL_20260502_234814509.jpg

And I just made this card for my sister's 50th birthday. I bought an entire scrapbook album at an estate sale several years ago. It was filled with greeting cards. I ended up removing them from the album and cutting apart the vintage pieces that I felt I could work into modern cards. I have a large amount of happy birthday as well as get well soon cards. My sister loves a fascinator, so I thought this image was perfect for her card. I added sequins and gems, and a little bit of washi.

I'm always cross stitching if I'm not designing, creating layouts, or reading. My last one was finished in December 2025.

I started a Rhett and Scarlett image from Gone With The Wind after Summerland, but there was an error in the instructions and I'm just going to have to buy new fabric and start over again because I'm not pulling out hundreds of stitches. Even thinking about it now makes me feel so frustrated that I got over 4 pages of pattern done. So I started on another pattern that I purchased from a Facebook Marketplace seller (I actually got several full/unopened Dimensions kits) and it's of a French flower market.

That card is adorable! How fun to reuse those vintage supplies! I'm SERIOUSLY getting the bug to try cross stitching- I think once my daughter graduates & I get her through all that- it's next on my crafty list! :D

It feels good to give something new life! And my sister seriously fell in love with the card.

Go for it! Let me know if you need any tips or tricks. Start with something small. My first project was a posey of violets that I gave my Granny the year I turned 11 (it was not under glass so the fabric has aged and has spots, but I'm not cleaning it as I think it's part of the story of the piece). Olivia's first project was in 2016 and it was also a posey of violets. I don't have a finished photo of it though. Maybe she has one? @Studio Liv

My first cross stitch :)

Oh my gosh!!!! I love seeing all the craftiness as a crafty gal!!!!! I haven’t really done much quilting since Christmas but I did make my grandson a christening outfit from my wedding dress, and a matching bib. My kiddos all loved the idea and I’m making a christening gown as well. I also made his cupcakes.

First, he is ADORABLE. Second, wow on repurposing your wedding dress. That makes it so special. And those cupcakes! YUMMO!

wow, ladies! cool stuff :)

I haven't made anything in forever, but I paint with acrylic paints on canvas. most of the time I take the blank canvas and mod podge ripped up newspaper all over it and wait for it to dry before I paint. I've also done some scary movie/crime pieces. idk about sharing the one I made on jeffrey dahmer, but here are a few :) if anyone wants to see the dahmer piece, feel free to message me lol
