What's your favorite thing today?

I think it is so sweet when my three year old granddaughter asks me "What's your favorite today, Nana"? This is her way of asking me what my favorite thing of the day is. Usually I tell her that it was me getting to see her! . Today I got to see my son, daughter-in-law, our oldest daughter, two grandsons and one granddaughter. That was my favorite today! What was your favorite?

this was from my walk this morning and was so funny to me. we have a lot of elk where I live and today they were all hanging out on our golf course LOL.

Today has been quiet because we celebrated Mother's Day yesterday. So my favorite thing today is sleeping in and just piddling around with hobbies.

Yesterday my favorite was having my children with me. It was a lovely day, with good food and presents, and lots of laughing.

Today has been quiet because we celebrated Mother's Day yesterday. So my favorite thing today is sleeping in and just piddling around with hobbies.

Twins are awesome! What fun! Tod’s mom was a twin and none of the siblings or their kids had twins. We finally have twins in our family because our niece has new twin grandsons!

Thats' so cute @EvelynD2. My favourite was spending today with mum, we went to her favourite interiors store so she could spend her Mother's Day giftcard there. She found everything she wanted and then we had a delicious coffee and share a banana bread, came back to my house and have spent the afternoon lounging around streaming and gasbagging.

We went to the zoo yesterday morning and had a blast. We ended up in the playground for a huge amount of time.
But my favorite was the afternoon. We chilled in our backyard. Finn played in his sandbox and the plant spray.

Sunday I had a pyjama day. My daughter made trifle using a glass bowl I bought from the charity shop a couple of weeks ago. I'd forgotten about a cut glass bowl I already had, but this latest one is the perfect shape and size so I don't feel too bad now that I added it to the collection!

Today I'm as thankful as ever that my job is full time WFH.

First thing in the morning I was still in bed and husband was cooking breakfast (not a Mother’s Day thing, he just cooks breakfast a lot) and my oldest son closed the shades in my room so I could relax. The curtains cast a green hue to the room.

My youngest (who turned 7 last week) says “oh, I love that green ambiance, it’s so tasty”



This kid is too much, I swear

They proceeded to put on not one, but two Minecraft “go to sleep to these relaxing sounds” videos on YouTube.

Relaxing ambiance indeed.

Except… then they didn’t leave

They just hung out until I gave up and got out of bed

(Don’t mind the mess of my room)

My fridge was full of bottled ice coffee so I'm semi-caffeinated Today is going to be low-key, thank goodness. Only have a little more homeschool to do for the day and then I'll either scrap or nap (or fold towels, although I'd rather pawn that off on my husband)

That sound like a plan for a good day for sure! I read this hint one time on getting husbands to help with household chores. You ask them "Would you rather do ____________ or would you rather _________________"? You give them a choice between two chores that you need help with so they have to pick one or the other! . I have done this before!

I continued my search for waterfalls and ended up playing mountain goat trying to get to one. We did find the paved path on the return trip. lol Good workout at a lovely park!

My favorite thing yesterday (since I think it was posted then) was having most of the day to myself. lol My daughter was at work & my husband & son were in Calgary for a hockey tournament. I made myself a yummy brunch (avocado & egg toast with fresh berries) and then I binge watched a bunch of shows I have put off catching up on. The kids & hubby were home by dinner time & they planned, prepared & cleaned up dinner- so I pretty much did nothing all day & it was amazing!
