I just have to say that I am MOST impressed with your first page! You've got lots of neat things going on in this page. I'm forever working on perfecting my shadows (to give the photos and elements "lift" and realism on my pages), so that's something that's always fun to tweak around on in your pages.
On subject matter like this photo grouping, you may want to select 1 major photo to highlight (preferably one with a good face shot or whatever your subject is for the page), and arrange smaller photos around that. I like that the largest photo in the layout is his face on this page, and the blending in the background is a fun effect.
