Yeshua
You are my cautious child. I wonder if that is a surprise to you. Since you were born I sensed a part of you that was concerned with your surroundings. Like the night Daddy and I roomed in at the hospital. You would not go to sleep. Even in our arms you laid awake watching your father and I. That was the first time we were together all night. Then when you were between 6&8 months old I noticed you had a few fears the vacuum, the dumptruck, the blender and the leaf blowers. Thats when I began to realize how cautious you were. At about the age of 3 Mom and Dad often warned you about the dangers in your world. Cars are one of the major hazards to a preschool boy on the go. So of course you had recieved talks on outings and in parking lots about the street. One night I noticed you were afraid when you saw car lights in your room at bedtime. My heart warmed for you. Yeshua I understand your caution towards the world. I write this today so you can understand. Son, if you ever find yourself battling with your caution and wondering why you worry I want you to know that you have every right to think, to ponder over consequences and plan your course. Embrace it. Yet also embrace the person within you who is strong, confident and capable of attaining allyou are willing to work for. Don’t be afraid to step out into the face of change and when you do so gather your caution and proceed with determination. And Yeshua remember I love you, always have and always will. No matter what you decide I will be proud of you.
