I’ve had a horrible start to 2008, first Jeff and I are having a rough time agian and the changes that were promised, never seen to happen. Then he needs back surgery and is out of a really good job because he was a temp, there was nothing they could do so he had to quit. It was really hard to deal with. The surgery had it’s troubles as well since they had him in rcovery forever and a day it felt like. Then you had to spend a couple days in the hospital more then the doctor told you about and to top it off you had a horrible nurse the first night you were in the hospital. After you got out we had a horrible time to get help from public aid. Then Grandma’s health started to go down down hill. She found out in febuary she had cancer and we’ve been on pins and needles ever since. Then I start getting really bad chest pains and just couldn’t catch my breath, followed by horrible case of the hives, then I get pink eye as well. So now I’m on sleep pills, anti-deppres -ssion pills, and will be going to get something for the anxiety attacks I’ve been having. Then I find a nest of mice in my closet. Now grandma ‘s battle with cancer has gotten worse. She’s in the hospital and on a morphine pump and just looking really weak. I’m trying to be so strong for her and mom because I know they are breaking apart on the inside but it’s hard. She’s the glue in our family. Yet everytime I see this qu- ote I know it’s true and it keeps me looking ahead and my head held up high. It shows me that no matter how horrible this year has started out to be, it will get better. Owen will be starting school this fall and I know it’ll be good for the both of us. I know that while there may be a ton of bad things to happen there will always be a lot of good as well. I just have to be patient and let it come to me. I need to remember: "to see the rainbow you must first endure the Rain
