December balloon garlands

I said in my December album "reason why" that I was going all-in on the Christmakkah chaos this year and I'm taking that to heart. When my son not only requested a balloon garland but actually blew up as many balloons as we'd let him, we ended up with two.

Love the division of blues and reds to represent your balloon garland! Love the scattered elements throughout your page!

What a cool idea - I would have no idea where to start to make balloon garland!

I started with a kit that my mom found in the grocery store. It came with color-coordinated balloons in several sizes and a strip of plastic with holes they call "balloon tape." (We got an electric balloon pump and that makes it so much easier to blow all the balloons up.) These days, I just buy balloons in the colors I want, coordinating tinsel (ex: I have black tinsel with ghosts for Halloween), and spend a little time with the family inflating while I shove balloons into the holes in the plastic. We have Command hooks hanging in our bedroom that we just slide the balloon tape over and we hang the one in the living room off the curtain rod with yarn. I've seen some really impressive ones but mine are all low-budget and pretty simple. If I add a 3 ft tall Mylar balloon to one end, they look extra fancy ;)

What a fun memory to capture. I like the blue cluster and red cluster on your page. Great idea.
