Journaling reads "Last summer our neighborhood organized a community theatre, and the school's sports field was chosen for rehearsals. The school also lent its auditorium for the final performance, and I really enjoyed it.
The script based on a book was adapted but modified to reflect the realities and challenges of our community, encouraging reflection, fostering dialogue, and strengthening collective identity, which I think was a lovely idea.
I was too busy to participate at the beginning, although I ended up appearing to fill a real insignificant role, practically just walking around the stage while the main actors had a discussion.
I hope our community organizes the theatre again this year, which, given our climate, should be held in the summer."
