In January 2024, we were finally able to start making changes to our new home, Dorothy’s Cottage. There was a plate shelf in the dining room that we had painted white. It was backed with an original window. We removed it, but then we were left with a large gap. We didn’t want to take out the frame and shelf and put a different backing. After much discussion, we settled on using the shelves for our large collection of books. We love how it brings color to the dining room, and adds a touch of coziness as well.
