7/4 DC, NYC, Niagra Falls, Kansas City Union Station
Due to the heat dome we opted to watch our America 250 celebrations on television. We started on 7/3 with A Capitol Fourth in Washington DC, followed by a special light show at the Statue of Liberty in New York City & fireworks at Mount Rushmore. Then on 7/4 we watched fireworks in NYC, Boston, San Diego & finally in Washington DC where they were trying to set a world record with 850,000 fireworks. We also checked out the lights at Niagra Falls & Kansas City.
