It's sad how much time it takes to move past someone elses issues they force upon us. I've been there, too, and I wish I could give you answers. Surround yourself with positive energy and the pain will subside. Don't let anyone in your life who brings you down. I know it's not easy to forgive and let go to horrible comments like that... but you are worth so more more than what that one person said to you or thought of you... you are beautiful in so many's eyes and I hope that those horrible things said to you by one person go away...

This and YOU are gorgeous. I too went through an abusive relationship that just tore me up side and brought my world down for the longest. What I realized is- The only reason he kept putting me down was because he couldn't admit to his own ugliness.
