That's where the tradition came from I believe. My grandma use to do it when we were growing up. And with church we are not home for brunch. So we come home grab a light lunch and then clean. Then I make a fun new recipe or grill something nice for an early dinner. Usually about 1600. Everyone sits round the table together and talks about the upcoming week and what the plans are. I didn't even realize I started doing it till years afterwards. We normal eat at varied times depending on that seasons sports schedule.
