Default Another Hybrid Question

ok, so i used mod podge to adhere my paper to a children's board book, and the paper overlaps the edges and needs trimming. If this were regular scrapbook paper, i would just grab some sandpaper and file away. is it ok to do that with inkjet printed pages? i really don't want to mess it up!

thanks!

I would say it depends on the look you're going for. I've done it and not had any trouble. I usually take a craft knife and get in as best as I can then sand away. But, I also tend to ink most projects and try sticking to a color that will cover any flaws.

If you do decide to do that, make sure it's REALLY dry. Or, the Mod Podge will make the paper more susceptible to tearing,

If you didn't seal the paper with mod podge on top, then you're fine. I do this all the time. I use a few different types of sanding files that I got in a Basic Grey distressing set. But I mostly use the big nail file sorta one

I'd sand it too and if you don't like the faded looking edges, just ink them.
