Need recommendations for Android apps

We finally bit the bullet and bought the kids a 10" Android 4.0 Tablet for Christmas, through one of those daily deal sites. They are going to be stoked, but this mama knows nothing about android tablets

, so I really would appreciate recommendations for free apps I could download for the kids to play.

My girls are 9 and 6.
