I think I'm going to give it a try. Firefox has been glitchy lately and I'm open for a change.

So I'm bringing up this thread again because I switched to Chrome and really liked it, BUT it keeps freezing on me. Suddenly it will not respond and if I close it down, I can't get it to reopen. If I open task manager, it says chrome is open, but I can't get it to close or reopen via task manager either. It's not my internet because I'll just open Firefox and that works fine. I'm stumped. Why does Chrome do that? Anyone else with that problem?

Got me, Julie! that's one of the problems I kept having with firefox.

Are you doing the end process tree with chrome instead of just ending task? that'll shut it down flat and give you a fresh restart when you restart Chrome. I'd shut it down totally, reboot, and try again. If it still isn't working, I'd consider reinstalling if yo're having that much trouble.

Except for not being able to do hulu well on Chrome..and it not having an native FTP like FF, I've been really happy with my switchover.

I don't know if I did end process tree. I think I've just said to end task. I'll try that next time and see if it will work.

Honestly, my problem with firefox was worse. Maybe this is a sign. LOL

Chrome has an extension Xmarks Bookmarks Sync that might help.

I'm using Flock. But I'm worried to switch over to Chrome. Also, I'm super stubborn and so I keep NOT switching to Chrome. My friends are trying to convince me and I keep saying no way! Lol.

I find I get a lot of "pages not found" or "can't open Page" a lot with chrome--so much it's irritating but for some reason it's the only browser that seems to work with a facebook game social city

Faster than FF? Hmmm... I've never had any issues w/ FF, but my man has been talking about Chrome.

I'm such a slow poke on things...
