Since CS6 is out, you'd have to upgrade to CS6 first before you'll be able to switch. Or you can buy an new education version of CS6 since the upgrade and education prices are usually about the same.
All the files on your computer will be fine. But Depending on how your EHD is formatted though, you may only be able to read the files on it, not write/save anything new to it. In that case you'd need to move the files off the EHD and reformt it for Mac, then move them back - which depending on the size of your EHD may or may not be simple to do since you need another drive large enough to hold all that data. It can be a pain but a Mac makes it worth it! Ack, sorry for the typos, I'm on my phone. Last edited by Nettio; 07-15-2012 at 09:49 AM. |
