So, what works for you guys? Is summer better, or would it be easier after school starts back? (Doesn't matter for me either way)

Rob goes back to work August 7th as well, so I can leave the crazy kiddos home with him pretty much anytime before then!

Well, let's try to plan something in the next couple of weeks then! The only day that I can't is next Tuesday (the 24th) as I've got a dentist appt. Otherwise, I'm free as a bird!

Where do we want to meet? We did Old Chicago last time, which I love, but I'm totally open to something else, too. What part of town is best for everyone?

I'm open to anything. If we're thinking centrally located there's The Artichoke on N Broadway, or The Anchor.

Cheddars? Red Robin? Abuelos?

Are we even thinking food?

I'm assuming we're looking at lunch or mid-afternoon, right? I do have a couple of work meetings in the next two weeks but I'd be done at lunch or just after. And I just looked at my calendar on my phone and I can't do the 24th either. But thankfully not because I have a dentist appt....

I'm good with any of those, too! I'll probably bring Chloe with me, so while I love The Artichoke, idk how comfy it would be with a baby. Ya know? The food is sooooooooooo yummy though!

My schedule is packed for the rest of the summer but I could definitely do a day during the week of July 30-August 3 if that worked for anyone else. I'm game for whatever when it comes to restaurants and it doesn't matter which part of Wichita it's in - I don't mind driving. Next week is our county fair and on Aug. 7th we leave for Disney so those weeks are out for me. I'd love to see everyone again!!

OK, so let's choose a day between Jul 30 - Aug 3. Is there a certain day of the week that is best? Kim, you mentioned some meetings, what days are you free? I can do Mon or Tues of that week, but I'd prefer later in the week (pay day on the 1st. LOL)

My vote for food would be either Red Robin or Cheddar's, but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has anything else they'd like to do.

I have a meeting at work on the 1st at 9 am. I don't anticipate it will go much past lunch, so I could do something that afternoon (and, you know, save some gas by only making one trip into Wichita, but that's not a huge consideration). So I could do really any day that week. My husband has off on Friday and those are usually family days in the summer so I guess I'd rather do it the 1st or 2nd. And either place is fine.

I can make either of those days work and will eat wherever. I love Red Robin but I've never been to Cheddar's so I'm up for that too.

Kim, what time do you think we should plan for in order for your meeting to be finished?

Yes, in front of the Warren. I think 1 or 1:30 should be good. My school is at 13th and Hydraulic, so I'll just have to drive a ways down 13th. Meeting at/after 1 gives the lunch crowd time to clear out.

I may be bringing my girls... they may go with me to my meeting and work in my classroom, in which case they'd just come with me to eat, but they can sit at their own table if we don't have room.

I've been peeking at this thread. It's too bad that my daughter has a dentist appointment that day... if not, I'd be up for a drive to Wichita. Maybe next time... Of course, once school starts during the week will be completely out for me.

I'm out also. I'll actually be in Wichita tomorrow still but I completely spaced that the kids have dental appointments at 1:00. They are just initial appointments but I'm sure we won't be done in time to make it for lunch at 1:30. I'm so bummed that it's not going to work this time.
