Default First tick of the season... yech!

We found a tick on my 3 yr olds face .... ACK! I'm so paranoid about ticks and I can't believe we have them already.

I already told DH he needs to find something to put down to prevent them because they make me SO nervous, especially with a little baby who is down on the floor so much!

Other than a couple of hours of snow this year, we hardly had a winter down here and I got a feeling with all the rain we've had over the past month the little boogers are going to be awful here. Ticks & 'sqeeters! YUCK!

oh, gosh that sucks -- thankfully we don't have them here but always have to be careful when we visit family in ND. I had one somewhere and was scared of what it might do
lol

They're out here too. I got one off my ankle this week- we were outside playing with the dogs. I hate tics too, they really freak me out.

Ewww, I hate ticks too! They give me the creepy crawlies just thinking of them! We have tons of them and the deer ticks too that carry lyme disease here in NH. Both my son's have been bitten by deer ticks and you have to save the darn tick in a piece of tape in the fridge (for 18 months!) in case they start showing symptoms of lyme. Nasty!

Oh man, I hate those things too. So glad your hubby found it. Icky!
We are in a high risk area for them and just found out we can get a shot for lyme disease. Kind of crazy! I'm not used to them. We didn't get many where we used to live in CA. They are everywhere here in MN. Plus we live in the woods.

That reminds me I need to put Tiger's flea and tick stuff on her tonight.

I found a tick crawling on me several weeks ago, while out on bridge inspections. I'm SUPER glad I was wearing jeans and my work boots. Tick on my skin MIGHT make me freak out. BLEH!
