Organizing Scrapbooking kits and collections

Hey All!
Its been a while but i have gotten back into scrapbooking. And I need help being able to find a way to tag kits, embellishments etc. to that I don't use all my time searching for what I want. I know in the past i have seen how people tag their items by color or creator, or theme... can someone point me in the right direction of a software program or such so I can finally got all this stuff organzied.

I use ACDSee and I'm happy with it. People also use Lightroom for this, and Adobe Bridge, that comes with Photoshop, has a tagging function, too. Someone recently mentioned that on a Mac you have a function like that available as a default, but as a PC person I don't know more.

I'm an ACDSee user, too. It does everything I need a tagging system to do.
