Hi, remember me?
Hi,
It's been 2 years since I last did some scrapbooking. My som is turning 3 years old in a few weeks. I have scrapped his frist years and then nothing more. I would like to start again. I would like to make monthly layouts to catch up. Do you have any tips for me how to handle this. Are there maybe project life layouts to use. Time to search through the shoppe I guess Regards, Leontine

YES! I remember you!!! Warm welcome back! Can't wait to see pictures of him and how he's grown.
As for catching up, I'm terrible at it. I find it much easier to scrap newer photos, and then go back to older ones when I feel inspired by a kit or something. Definitely check out the PL templates because those will give you the most space for lots of photos. You could also do a simple year-ineview type album to quickly scrap your favorite photos from the year and save the rest for later. |

Definitely go with Project Life styles to quickly catch up. I did a weekend catch up for 2010 last year. It was much more basic than my usual PL pages, and had it focus just on pictures with the occasional text over a picture if I felt something needed captioning or labeled.

I remember you too and welcome back! I agree with Brook. Don't focus on going backwards. Focus on going forwards. At least for me, I don't have enough time to stay current let alone stay current and catch up. Just focus on today forward and if something inspires you do an occasional catch up page.

Pocket pages are awesome for catching up on all those pictures, but I agree with the girls, focus on scrapping current events in his life and the days ahead. Then catch up a little by little when you have some extra time.
I am doing exactly that myself, project life/52weeks for 2015 while my son (3) and daughter (1) get their albums done one page at a time whenever I feel like scrapping either current pictures/events or from the last 2 years. Good luck!

Thank you everyone.....
One day back and my basket is soooooooo full! And I am still drawn to the same designers. hahaha. I have decided to make a two page year in review page for 2014 and start in 2015. And do only big events. Then I will catch up with every day photos starting now. Tonight I am going to see on my old back up disc which kits I can still use. I kinda miss it a little bit, although crochet is also still my favorite. I will have to combine 2 or 3 (reading) hobby's. Oh and don't forget number 4: Roan hahahaa
