Any other Chrome users noticed backspace isn't working?

I always hit backspace to go to the previous page I was on, but it suddenly stopped working. I figured I accidentally changed a setting on my laptop, so I finally Googled it.

Weird. And the alt+left arrow works, not that I'm going to remember it anytime soon

I use Chrome at work but haven't noticed this. It's probably because I tend to have about 28 tabs open rather than going back to the previous page.

Ha I also thought I'd messed something up on my laptop when it first happened. I came across a post on Facebook about it yesterday and downloaded the extension so it's fixed now.
