Default Show me your Christmas tree.

I would love to see everyone's trees, so post and show them off and then tell me if you decorate the same every year, if your decorations are memory drive, like stuff the kiddos made, or if you do a designer tree. And if you have a theme for your tree, I like to know that as well. I do love a good theme. LOL

I haven't put my tree up yet, I might not be able to due to planned renovations.

That said, my GKs decorate my tree using the decorations they've rec'd over the years along with some glass balls, crocheted snowflakes, plastic icicles, etc. After umpteen years, they've finally learned NOT to hang ornaments from the very bottom tree branches ... I call that a HUGE win, LOL!!!

ETA: GKs are 19, 28 and 29, but still come over and decorate.

YES! Lorie- I feel like we're long lost sisters. I would LOVE to puke Christmas all over my house, but the kids & hubby keep in me in check. That said- I have a lot of trees!

Our main tree in our living room is brand new- I asked for it for my birthday- it's SOOO pretty! I love the twinkle lights. It's themed snowflakes and all things glittery/sparkly and mostly silver/white with pops of pink/purple/blue! It's SO pretty at night time!

Because I got a new one for the living room this year- I put our old one upstairs in the kids' playroom. I let Declan decorate it completely with left over ornaments I didn't use on our main one, plus all the fun stuff we've either collected or the kids made in elementary years. He purposely put all the purple icicles together just to get my goat- jokes on him- I left them as is & it makes me smile every time I walk by it! Such a silly kid still!

My office also has a white tinsel pencil tree that I LOVE and decorate it in rainbow ornaments! This is one of the only windows people driving by can see- so I like that you can see a tree inside here. (Actually, if the blinds are open upstairs, you can now see the kids' playroom tree too!)

Just outside the office, on our front porch is another tree. I don't decorate this one as it's already super pretty & all glittered with gold & silver glittery branches. I just add my pinecones and my fresh costco wreath every year.

My daughter even gets into the spirit- she has a little 3 ft tree she puts up in her bedroom & decorates herself. She does a great job!

I made a joke with my hockey billets that I can put a tree down in the basement tv room for them too but they passed! They're just happy I'm baking cookies up a storm!

I love the rainbow ornaments on your white tree. It makes my color-coding heart so happy. (I tend to put things in rainbow order. My husband has learned to embrace it.)

Me too! My daughter has been OCD about color coding since she was a peanut too! We're both very type-A organizers! Thank you for the kind words!

Your trees are beautiful Aimee! I haven't taken a photo of our tree yet, not until our CA College student comes home and puts her handful of ornaments on the tree. Then I can take a photo or 2!

We do a different theme each year for our tree. We have a Disney Cruise planned for this summer, so to get us in the mood, we did our tree in a Disney/travel them!

The last time we had a tree and decorated it was in 2021. Olivia inherited our tree. I'll let her post a photo of it in her apartment - it's so pretty! We always put all kinds of ornaments on the tree that we collected over the years. My mom did it that way. We just didn't do themed trees. It was always so fun to pull out the ornaments and go through them each year.

Fast forward to 2024, and I have a tree, but it's crystal. Some pieces I already had and others I collected. My hubby and I worked to put it together. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. No, this wasn't my idea. I saw it in a video and then I got a couple of messages from family/friends who thought I would love it (and they were right!).

Now that my kids are grown I get to choose what I want my tree to look like. Always warm white lights, this year I felt like predominantly white decorations, but had to add the most recent ornaments we got on our travels. Because there are berries on our tree, I feel like a little red doesn't hurt.

Trees are so hard to get aesthetic photos of haha

Here is ours (don't mind the Birkestocks, floof/grass amalgamation, toppled Target bird, gift wrap mess background)...

I definitely have a red, white, softy squishy theme going. We've had some of these ornaments since the kids were littles and Katie is 24 now, so some are OLD! We add a handful of new ones to the stash every year. Always in pairs. There's 2 of everything on the tree like it's Noah's Ark or something.

It's interesting because they used to be mostly Santas / elves / snowmen types of traditional motifs, but as the kids have gotten older, the new ornaments have a silliness about them now... aliens, nessie, llamas, snails, that sort of thing. I'm also a sucker for typography, so if I find fun wordy things, I almost always grab 'em!

I love seeing everyone's trees. Amie, your rainbow pencil tree is incredible!

Oh, you all have such beautiful trees.

Amie, I love all of your trees and plan to follow in your footsteps next year and have more at my house. The rainbow one is so much fun. My family has already decided that next year we are doing a mini tree decorating contest at our Christmas party and it is great inspiration for that. But I have to admit I am leaning towards a pink flamingo one still. LOL

Dawn, I can't wait to see your tree. I think my sister and I both have Disney themed trees, so I know I will love it.

OMG, Cheryl, that crystal tree is amazing. You "put" it together you say? What exactly does that mean? Did you make it? If so, could you link up the video. I don't own a bit of crystal, but I would love to see that being made. I am a sucker for Christmas craft videos. LOL I also love your gold and silver decorations around it. So classy.

Beautiful tree, Stefanie. I love how the white pops against the green and think the red is the perfect accent.

Robin, I love your tree. It is so whimsical, but still very traditional because of the colors. I especially love the typography ornaments. I also love the size of the ornaments. So many I have seem too dang small to be seen.

wow love all the trees!

last 6 years we had our tree with blue, red, white ornaments with a with snow and nutcrackers.
But last year I went to the special store in the neighborhood after Christmas when all things were discounted 50% and decided to buy a whole new color theme for this year so we can switch every other year. Also I made orange and grapefruit ornaments this year, which was fun until I burned myself lol...
Oh and since the kids were little we have a tradition where we hang candy canes in the tree where they can grab one each day as a kind of advent to christmas, (in the photo of last year, the photo was taken before the candy canes were hang in lol)

This is our tree this year

This is the one from last years...

All of these Christmas trees are gorgeous, ladies!
This is ours. Mostly traditional red ornaments, some snowflakes, but I have somewhat started collecting Starbucks cup yearly ornaments for the past 3 years and I love them.
This year, I've got a new tree cover/mat and ribbons. I think I should've gone with a gold instead of silver ones, but I like how wide they are to make the tree look fuller.

Thank you, Lorie! There are different videos on FB and IG as well as YouTube. This video goes through it pretty step-by-step. I found that the layers had to dry more than 10-15 minutes before adding additional layers. Otherwise, that was my process except for Jay helped me and we did the trunk of the tree (a big footed glass) and then the first bowl, then we did the middle bowls, then the top bowls and the bell. Then we put it all together.

My DIL is collecting the Starbucks cups too. I will have to come back later to see your photo. My work computer doesn't want me to have any fun or see anything pretty. It is petty like that. LOL

Beautiful tree, Wendy. I love the ribbon looped in it. I am totally going to try that next year. I love the orange slices too. Do they smell as good as they look?

I love seeing everyone's trees. It's so interesting seeing all the unique themes and styles.

Here's our main family tree in the livingroom.

Disney Tree that's in our office/board game room.

Last year I added this super skinny pencil tree to our bedroom.

And I don't have pictures, but the kids each have a tree in their rooms. The boys just have little 3 ft ones, but this year Keira upgraded to a 6 ft tree in her room.

And I have this little tree on the kitchen counter, it's my Gingerbread tree, if we ever redo our kitchen, I'd love to do a full size gingerbread tree.

Aww, thank you! I got that for like $25 at kohls this year. I’ve been wanting Christmas bedding for years and the price was finally right!
