I have been trying a lot of new recipes lately and when I find a good one it goes straight into my old yellow binder - my go to for our favorite recipes. They may be handwritten, printed or cut off of a food package but if we loved it, the binder is where we will find it.

When you go to Imgur, click on the tab that has your images. Click on the image you want. It will have a list of links that you can select on the right of the photo. Pick the fifth one from the top. It ways for message boards and forums. See if that works for you.

We never outlive our Show N' Tell experience from Kindergarten. This is such a fun activity. I am enjoying reading and looking at all your posts and pictures.

I'm getting ready to welcome a new grandbaby in our family. My son and his wife have been married for 7 years and are excited to get this little one here. When I had my own children, my favorite thing was to bundle them in my homemade receiving blankets; at that time I didn't know how to finish the edges with a crochet stitch, but I do now and it's been so fun making these blankets for my loved ones.

A couple of months ago my boys started falling hard down the Marvel Universe rabbit hole and, because it's what I do, I've fallen in with them. We embarked on a journey to watch all 34 of the MCU movies in chronological order. So we went from basically never watching movies to watching 26 movies since the end of December. As a result, we've also gotten into a lot of the 70s jams from the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtracks, so I've been obsessed with this Supertramp station on Amazon Prime Music:




I've been volunteering at the boys' school with the Partners Read program. It's been just a small way to feel connected to the school community and share my love of books with children who need a little extra help in the reading department.



I am medium obsessed with this second hand store down the street. Not only are they awesome people who do so much for the community, but their sales are unbeatable. These were only $1 a piece on clearance!

We recently bought a pebble ice maker and I'm loving it! We waited and waited for a really good sale on them and I finally found a great price so we got it! I love how much more water I'm drinking because of the ice.

I ended up having to use the product image because it is 5 degrees outside and I'm sick, but this is hands down my favorite new "toy." My kids got me a composter bin for Christmas and I've been having a blast with it. After I have a bowl full of produce clippings and eggshells, I take it outside, dump it in the bin, then spin the composter, feeling like I am on the Price is Right spinning the wheel every time!

Hey! It looks like you're just copying the link at the top of the imgur page vs right-clicking on the image to get the actual image link which looks like this for your image...

https://i.imgur.com/UE4gODt.jpeg <--- you can see the letters are different and it also has the .jpeg filetype which is why your image isn't showing up. You DO have it tagged right in your post with the IMG tags though, so I think with this tweak you should be good to go!

Today is a snow day for me. I am in the middle of a play production and have been losing many rehearsal days. So playing cars with my grandson is a good way to relieve the stress. I love him so much!

Years ago I started collecting Christmas village houses. I would put them out at Christmas and then pack them away again. We moved in March 2020 to a home an hour away from where we used to live. This was right before the stay home order. Covid had already started to get bad. I was laid off from the Christian school I was teaching kindergarten out due to a decline in enrollment because of Covid. I unpacked my Christmas village and set it up. I called it my Little Gatlinburg. I never put it away again. It stays out and brings me so much joy! In fact, a friend from church gave me seven buildings recently plus a train. Yesterday I received an order of village people from Facebook Marketplace. My village is thriving! I did a layout so you could see all the pieces put together rather than individual photos of each unit.

I bought a puzzle table back in the fall and I absolutely love it! I did a cat advent calendar in December and just finished a puzzle that my brother got me for Christmas.

I've been loving chocolate drizzled popcorn and these Zappo's pretzel sticks. Also Dots pretzel sticks, but I ate them all.

And my new fancy mouse. I didn't "need" a fancy mouse, but man. It's so smooth and I love that it's rechargeable at the front so I can plug it in and use it.

I am really loving to read fiction books! This is a photo of most of the books that my little sister gave me, thinking I might like them. She gave me 8. These 6 books were on my Want to Read list! I had read the 7th, and the 8th was a genre I like but it didn't sound good to me.

Yesterday, my 20-year-old daughter, her boyfriend, and my aunt and I went for lunch and to see the ice sculptures for our town's Fire & Ice. My daughter leaves in a 4 days for her study abroad internship in Italy so it was probably the last time we will get to do something like this together before she leaves. So today when I went to get the pictures off my camera card, the computer said there was a card error and couldn't read it. Took me half the day, but I was able to download some recovery tool and get half the pictures back. So this picture means a lot to me after all that!

I love having my kids' artwork in frames. Makes me smile every time I walk by! The sunflowers are in a frame that opens easily and has storage for other artwork behind, so I change that one out often.


I bought these $4.99 carnations at Walmart 10 days ago and they are still going strong & making me happy while I wash the dishes!

What I've been loving lately isn't things, but the travel we've been doing in the last year and the trips we have planned that are coming up later this year. I've been to Seattle twice (to see my oldest son), Chicago once (to see second son) and Kauai for a week in the last 6 months. We've got trips planned to go to Phoenix in April, Park City in June and the Oregon Coast in August still this year. Most of our vacations prior to this has been to hang out with family in the Portland area or an occasional trip to the Oregon Coast. Feeling very blessed!
