Default A year of blessings

What blessing did you receive in 2012?

What wonderful things happened to you or your family this year?

i was sitting here cuddling with my unexpected miracle & can't believe the year our family has had.

Keira has made it a whole year cancer free, she finished chemo Dec.29th last year.

We went on Keira's amazing Make A Wish trip to Disney.

Sean found a good, part time job.

3 months later he got a promotion & switched to full time.

And Harper joined our family.

This time last year all i could hope for was two healthy kids, now there are 3 healthy kids! Amazing.

Its been an amazing year, how about for your families?

We bought a house in June. While this may just seem like a normal blessing to many, but considering our family's circumstances, it was nothing short of a miracle!

I love this! Vanessa, I'm SO happy for you. What an amazing story.
Natalie, congratulations!

It's been a pretty low-key year for us, which in itself is a blessing!

That's awesome! We bought our first house in 2010, also a miracle since we were living on my disability and GI Bill at the time. I love coming home everyday to my own home, even 2 1/2 years later!

Another low key year for us too... everyone is happy, healthy, and employed... even thought I wished that having number two would happen this year, it didn't for the four year in a row... however, nothing bad happened *... so it's all good...

*I hope I didn't just jinx myself... Still have a few days left his year... haha

So many ways.

I was able to open my photography office in 'town', 9 months later, I'm moving it back home, and was even able to travel to a couple of workshops/events. I reconnected with some old friends. And learned that *I* am amazing (or at least am working to believe that)

Hubby, has been employed for a majority of the year with the state. Even when he wasn't with them he was able to find a job that he liked

The kids are all happy, healthy and super smart. They excel academically and have made many new friends at school.

This has been a happy year for me.

We spent the first six months in paradise, then we moved to Manila. And we have a nice house in a great neighborhood, where I can see trees and grass and no pollution. SUCH a blessing in a city of 13 million.

Kids are attending a great international school that they love.

Joel and I get to spend 3 hours/day together learning Tagalog. I LOVE spending my mornings with him!

Ariana, our bonus baby, is the happiest, most precious child ever, and I'm totally thankful we got her, even if we didn't plan her.

We got to see my parents TWICE this year and Joel's parents once. Living on the other side of the world, that is something to be grateful for.

Also, I got my first niece in October. : ) She's seriously cute, and I can't wait to meet her next year!

Thanks for the prompt, Vanessa. I'm going to turn this list into a layout!
