Default Tutorials for ACDsee?

I have a friend who has downloaded the trial version of ACDsee and needs some help getting things set up. Digiscrap Info is no longer around so are there any tutorials out there for beginners to get categories set up and stuff like that?

Has your friend been scrapping for a while? If so, she probably has an idea about how she searches for items. I think knowing how you look for things is the first big step to the process because how I look doesn't work for some of my friends. I have some friends that only tag the previews and one that only tags papers but she tags them in minute detail.

I would be more than willing to share my categories in ACDSee but mine are pretty detailed.

No- she is just getting into digi scrapping. I use ACDsee myself and am going to see if I saved any of the categories to send her.

I also only tag previews and a few individual things here are my categories.

Main Categories:

Designer Breakdown (I only do this for my CT's but if you buy lots and lots from one (or 2 or 3) particular designers I could see you making a tag for them!!):

Element tags( I use to tag every element...I stopped that years ago...now I only tag element packs and certain elements from kits like flowers and leaves!!!):

Events (I couldn't think of a better name...cause they are not really all seasons!!! ):

Templates:

If you are still searching for info on using ACDSee, Kayla Lamoreaux has now posted the class she had previously offered on her blog: http://www.kaylalamoreaux.com/creati...zed-in-acdsee/

It is really a helpful tutorial in setting up and using ACDSee.
