Project Love Me 2013

Back in January Robin started this project here in the Long Term Projects forum. I think Elizabeth and I are the only ones who posted all year long, but I'm wondering if anyone else completed it. It was definitely something I would suggest everyone do for a year.

You're so pretty Tracy! And so put together. I only look put together on a Sunday when I'm going to church. Haha! I piked out after 3 shots I think. I'm not good in front of the camera. I did try to get in more photos with the kids though, so at least it's not a total loss.

I am thinking I would love to do this next year ... maybe with a LO a week with just random thoughts or whats going on just for me and doing an album from it.

I think so. While some pics felt like a chore and some completely showed the kind of mood I was in, I love seeing a whole year of them together.

I love how it looks when all put together! And you look great Tracy. I think I took photos for two weeks last year! I might try again next year...probably won't get a photo every week though

Love this! I was looking at that thread just a couple weeks ago. I think it's something I want to try I hate pics of myself, and I haven't found an angle I like yet but, I think this would make me feel more comfortable seeing pics of myself at least!!

i didn't post every pic in my spot. i think i stopped after 2 months BUT i still took pictures. i aimed for every sunday (selfiesunday and all that...plus that's the main day i get fully ready) but i still took some throughout the week.

i have so many friends who hate "selfies" but i came to love them. i don't get in pictures with my kids/family (like most) so this helped me get in front & also get pictures for my girls to see me, ya know? i loved it & hope to keep it up next year.

i LOVE how you scrapped them! that's a great idea.

I crashed in October... but that whole month, I didn't take many photos - first time in like 15 years! haha I've been working on my layout, just putting together the photos I do have...

I didn't take a photo every week, but I'm pretty sure I got at least once a month ... so a slightly pared down version I suppose

Love these! You're both beautiful, and it's so fun to see your year's worth of photos together. I stopped taking selfies on a schedule early on, but doing PL made me a lot more aware of how many photos I was (or wasn't ) in so I was definitely better about taking and scrapping photos of myself this year. I'm sure I've got at least 1 a month that I liked, sometimes 2 or 3 per month.

I'm going to try this in 2014. I didn't get a smart phone until late February, it's hard taking a selfie with a 10 lb camera! LOL!

I seriously hate having my photo taken... and although I strive to do better with the boys, I admit that I still struggle and hit delete a LOT. sooo... I'm going to give this a go in 2014, and see if I can overcome a bit more of my self photo fears.

what an amazing idea....I will totally do this next year, but will probably not post them everyweek and I LOVE how you guys did this!!!! Now how about Traci R making a little template freebie, so I can just stick my picture in there every week and print it at the end of the year

This is me. I didn't mean to, but I ended up getting 5 or more pics each month. I was making an effort to do more selfies, but not as a weekly thing

Ditto Tracy!!! I really tried to take my photo "in the moment", I choose to take mine every Thursday and when Thursday rolled around and I remembered...oh yeah take a picture....I really just took it....no matter where I was, who I was with or what I looked like!! And believe me....I showed many different sided of myself!!! I actually paper scrapped my photos (this just happened to coordinate with me turning 39 last Feb and I kind of used it as a record of my journey to my 40's) so I have all my photos (well I'm still going since I won't turn 40 for 2 more months) in a 6x8 albums but if anyone wants to see my photos for this year you can see them here:

I didn't take mine all in the same spot. Just wherever I felt the moment.
