LOST finale... let's dish!

All I can say is WOW to the final scene... I so hope we don't have to wait until January for it to come back.

Yeah, "whoa" about sums it up for me. I knew by the end of the episode what the reveal would be, but I've been thinking it was going to be somebody else for the entire season, lol.

Some moments that were moving in both good ways (ahh Desmond and his Penny) and sad ways (Sun).

And of course my brain hurts as always.

I LOVE lost - but I am SO frustrated with ABC and the repeats and the "recap" shows that I can only watch them when the season comes out on DVD - I cant wait to see what happens!!!

When Desmond and Penny kissed I was like "don't care what happens the rest of the show now".

Glad Sawyer isn't dead, y'all had me all freaked out about him jumping from the helicopter and dying.

Finally I felt like the writers actually gave us some information. Now granted they also made sure they can do another season, but I'm so glad to see how they finally got off of the island and what happened to everyone else.

I thought it was great - my dh missed it so we'll probably watch it on abc.com again tonight. I loved Desmond and Penny being reunited, I thought the scene with Sayid and Keamy fighting was crazy and I was biting my nails during that one! When Sawyer jumped from the helicopter I was dying.....couple weird things. They had one scene on the raft where Jack was lying against the edge of it saying "at least we're alive" or something similar and it was SO obvious they had filmed it later or at a separate time, the lighting was completely different and it just looked awful. I seriously cannot believe they used it! Also - when they were getting off the raft onto Penny's boat it was really obvious that Kate was carrying a doll baby cause it's little plastic-y looking head was sticking out of the blanket and it looked stupid. Oy. Other than that - good - but Lost is usually pretty high quality so I was surprised to see both of those things which were pretty lame!

So I loved the scene with Penny and Desmond. I love how Jack used Desmond's quote, "See ya in another life, Brotha." I totally cried when Jin died. It's driving me nuts that Locke was given a false name.

Who was Jack talking about with Ben when he said, "He came to visit me, and he came to visit Kate." I never know if I miss something, or if it's a new question.

Wasn't he talking about Jeremy Bentham aka Locke? I guess I just assumed.

it was an awesome show...always is and me too, I was glad we finally got some answers, although more questions.

So do we think Sayid "offed" Locke - he said "they say it was suicide"...I'm wondering? Curious as to why he had a different name, too. I thought for sure Jeremy "Ben"tham was Ben.

That was great that Jack said "see you in another life, brotha"....and Penny and Desmond was awesome. I'm not a big Sawyer fan so I could take him or leave him

I don't think Sayid offed him..Sayid is working for Ben-if Ben knew they had to go back not sure why they would have killed off Locke...shrug..nothing makes sense anymore so it might have happened haha

WOW! WOW! WOW!!! I loooooooooved the show last night!

Only GET THIS. Did anyone watch Good Morning America today? They showed 2 alternate endings for the show and each time they had TWO different people in that coffin. WTH???? This makes me conclude that either a. the writers have no idea how their own show is even going to end, or b. they put those alternate scenes in there just to screw with us.

BTW, the other people in the coffin were Desmond and the other one was Sawyer.

ARGHGGHHHHHH! I just KNOW they are screwing with us. My dh thinks that John is going to end up back on the island and come back to life. Because Ben insisted that EVERYONE has to go back to the island.

Oh, and I don't know if I missed this in the discussion, but remember that scene at the beginning of the season where Ben was in some desert wearing that coat and fighting someone and had an injured arm? Well, NOW we know why.

Isn't it funny the things you notice? It was also killing John and I that Aaron NEVER cried for food, never cried at all. OH, and since they tossed EVERYTHING from that helicopter out into the ocean when they were losing fuel, then how did they suddenly come up with that GINRORMOUS life raft? Man, that was the kind of raft that space crafts use.

Emmy, I actually cringed when the "super fake Jack" shot came on the screen it was terrible! (I think there was another one as well, but I don't remember it.)

Well, there are 2 more seasons to go and frmo what I have heard we won't be getting any new episodes until January. Booo!!

Thoe scenes were super fake looking and there were a few others on the helicopter, I think, that also looked that way too. It was obvious they were scrambling to put this all together quickly. Alas, I am just happy they came back from that writer's strike with some new shows and didn't leave us hanging. I thought this was a good season and a good season finale. We got some answers that we just really needed and then were left with even more but that is the fun of this show.

I don't know what to think re Locke in the coffin at the end... that really threw me for a loop! I was so not expecting that! Jack (Matthew Fox) does play a really good drunk. LOL.

That dream that Kate had freaked me out! Clare was super scary in it. I wonder why she doesn't want her to bring Aaron back?? We all knows this dream wasn't really a dream... it is a msg to Kate somehow.

It's just all so good.... ahhh... I wish they would just make a movie so we can all just know what happens. I'd sit in a theatre for 5 hours if I had to!!

Me too! I just watched the whole finale over again without commercials and still thought it was one of the best this season.

I watched it intently last night and still didn't see so much of what you did or question some of the things you've brought up,lol. That's why these discussions are so great; you can put even more pieces of the puzzle together!
Did anyone notice the number on the test rabbit in hatch 6? It was 15. Does that mean anything to anyone? The gal who came with the 4 from the freighter (Charlotte? i am aweful with names, i'm sorry) to "study" the island for Whitmore. Did you catch that she came back apparantly to see where she was born?
I just thought the whole episode was great.

I am so in denial that it's over. Lots of questions answered, and I am glad Sawyer survived. I thought Desmond was a gonner, since he wasn't on the life boat when the oceanic 6 were discovered. Very glad he found Penny!!

I also like that it wasn't a huge cliffhanger!

I just watched the other 2 endings on abc.com and Locke was definitely the most dead looking.

I might have had to quit watching if it was Desmond.
