Default ATTN: all ipod users

Ok, so I got a ipod from my hubby and sons for my b-day yesterday and I totally love it but...

the headphone things hurt my ears! I have pretty tiny ears so I'm thinking that maybe the little round white things that go in your ears are just too big? Whatever it is, I can't wear them for more than 10 minutes without is really hurting a lot.

Anyone else ever had this issue. Do they have ipod earphones that are smaller?

P.S. I've had this issue with cell-phone head pieces too. Argh! Curse these tiny ears of mine!!

They hurt my ears too. I just went and got a pair of earphones that clip over the backs of my ears (any brand will do). I just broke mine, so I have to get another pair, but I love them!

I have the same issues...
Find some Sony (or similar) earbuds. They come in 2 different silicone sizes. Perfection! I rarely have issues with them hurting OR falling out.

I've gotten so many sets of earbuds, trying to find the perfect blend of comfort and sound, the ones I have with the best sound quality are the most uncomfortable, the others don't sound as good. You can most certainly buy a replacement set - there are hundreds of them in all price ranges.

P.S. MY ZUNE came with soft comfy ones...with a soft flexible ear piece to even fit in tiny ear holed people.

ZUNE RULEZZZZZZZZZ!

I never listen to my Ipod with earphones, so I don't know abt that, but I do have the same problem with my Bluetooth earpiece being too big both for my tiny earhole and my tiny earshelf. I can't wear both my sunglasses and the hook for my Bluetooth at the same time comfortably, so I have to shove the Bluetooth hook underneath my sunglass hook and then the Bluetooth sticks out almost straight from my ear and makes it hard to hear.

Sigh. So I feel your pain even though I am adviceless.

I SWEAR by the Nike ones I have. They have a swivel piece that goes up and then attaches to a soft flexible piece that wraps around my ear. It only hurts my ear if I wear it for like 32432 hours, lol.

ETA: Found them.
When I first got the ipod I bought the special headphones with 3 size squishy things to make them fit all ears. Still didn't work. So I totally feel your pain. The Nike ones are totally worth the $30, I've had mine forever. I'm totally surprised by the reviews there. I walk with mine, have run with them, worked out, etc, and had zero problems.

Yes, I can't use the earphones that come with the ipod either, they sit on the cartilage of my ear and hurt really bad. I use earphones from skullcandy, I have nice pink ones, LOL!!

I totally had the same problem too! I just went straight to Best Buy to get a pair of Sony ear buds that had changeable soft parts (not sure of the technical term, LOL!) so that you could change them depending on your ears!

I had the same problem! I spent like $30 on some called Skull Candy, and I'm telling you... they ROCK. They sound great and are so comfy and never fall out. Totally worth the money. I got mine at Best Buy.

yup, I had to get the silicone type, with the smallest setting. The white ones kept falling out, but fit my thirteen year old perfectly, so I gave them to him.
