Guitar Hero for DS...SERIOUSLY??????? I just want to thank you for enabling my daughter on where to spend her allowance
 (means I need to cough up some more allowance too haha..she knows my paydays how bad is that)

I gotta say it looks fun, we don't have a wii or anything but I played guitar hero at my sisters over christmas, it was soo much fun!
Do you have to use your right hand though for the buttons on the ds? i'm a lefty..and so is lily.. cause really it would be for lily not me.. lol

Yeah, my DS2 wants it BAD too!!! He has a birthday coming up but he CAN'T wait till then......He also really wants Rock Band now that they make it for the PS-2 also.............like he needs more reasons to sit on his butt!!!!!

It's an obsession. We have it for PS2, but it's summer and we're doing lots of short trips, so DS jumped all over it.
Kristin, you can flip which hand plays it. I'm not sure how it works, but I was reading the instructions and it has that capability. It has maybe one or two songs that are on the other Guitar Heros (we have 1, 2 and 3), so not a whole lot of overlap. I noticed Jessie's Girl and All Star, which are fun. I've actually only played it once... it's busy every other time. I'm the only one in the family that doesn't own a DS. It's huge at our house.

I had no idea they even made Guitar Hero for the DS until today, that is pretty cool! We have it for the PS2 but we haven't played it in awhile (why am I saying we lol, really my DH is the only one that plays it although the girls like to watch). DH would like to get the new Aerosmith version, but we'll probably wait awhile til it comes down in price. He's more interested in getting new sports games for his PS3 right now. Kaylie just recently started asking for a pink Nintendo DS for Christmas this year, so I guess I better start watching for deals on them! She'll be more interested in the Hannah Montana and High School Musical games though.

I was just looking at this at Target over the weekend because I need a go gift for Nathan's birthday. I wanted to get him his own DS anyway and I see that they have the Guitar Hero edition.
Glad to hear that it looks good... Now they'll be fighting over it! LOL

DS's have been out lifesaver..my kids FIGHT in the car..i'd rather hear game noises than fighting kiddos anyday

Okay I was just checking them out on the Toys R Us web site, do these drop considerably in price like around Black Friday/Christmas time? At $130 they are more expensive than even the American Girl doll she got last year for Christmas! Better start saving my pennies now lol!
