Please help me welcome my friend Mary to SSD
Hey guys!
My friend Mary has been a paper scrapper for many years (I won't tell you how famous she is with her many publications and stuff cause well, she'd find that embarrassing.  ) Anyway, I'm slowly trying to pull her over to the digi side. She's only done a few digi pages, but she's been posting them here at SSD cause she really loves the shoppe. She's got a very classic style that I've admired for at least 8 or 9 years now, and I know that you guys will love her, too.She's awfully quiet, but I"m hoping to pull her out and get her to do some challenges with us. So can you guys help me give her a huge SSD welcome?? Check out her gallery!

apparently being an uber experienced paper scrapper is the key to not sucking when you begin digi. I seriously can't believe those are some of her first digi pages! Amazing!

Hi Mary, I can feel you on the shy part. I have a hard time when I am 'new' too. I have been stalking this place for months but just sit and read and barely post.
Welcome to the digi world. You might find that you may never go back to paper! No mess, no fuss.

LIBBY!!! You outed me! I'm just sitting here quietly, putting up my layouts, and you told on me.
 But you are a sweetie. Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and your kind comments on my layouts!! It's always a bit overwhelming coming into a new community. And I haven't been part of one for a very long time! But Libby knew just the right time to tempt me with her digi stuff...right when I was getting back to scrapping after a year-long hiatus. So it's been fun looking around here...BUYING stuff is WAY too easy, but certainly satisfies my immediate satisfaction needs. As Libby said, I've been a paper scrapper for many years and I do still love that. I always say, scrapbooking is such a worthwhile hobby...no matter how you do it. A few of you asked about my paper layouts...OK, I won't be shy...I have a few here: MaryinAZ Gallery and you can see some of my really old stuff on my blog in the photo albums. Thanks again...and I'll have to check out those challenges Libby mentioned.
