Default Best Galleries for Exposure?

Hey everyone? Just wondering... what galleries do you find your LOs getting the most views? I usually post my LOs in 3 galleries, here, DST and one other (won't mention where lol) but that 3rd one I've noticed doesn't get much action. I want to make sure I'm getting the designers I CT for the best exposure, so I'm just wondering if there's another gallery out there that I should start participating in. Any suggestions? TIA!

I don't get the most exposure at MSA, but I put in the most praise there, too. I am a total gallery junkie, though, so my experience probably isn't typical. I see that most layouts there don't get a lot of views or comments; mine comes only from the amount I leave, I'm sure.

You know what I noticed the other day when I was wasting time? CK has a great digital gallery, and lots of girlies post there. I was wondering if SBE's gallery is the same way. I think those are out of the norm places we might get more exposure for our designers. I could be totally wrong ab out that, though.

I post here, DST, and MSA and two other galleries that girls I CT for are at. I have to say that here and one other store gallery is where I get the most views/praise. I never get much at DST, but do get a few at MSA.

I post here, DST, MSA, and TDC. I was thinking of starting to post over at 2peas or CK too. We'll see. I'm lazy this week

Just my 2 cents about CK's gallelry...I used to post there a few years ago, and they've changed things up quite a bit.

Either I'm a total idiot (which probably isn't far off) or I'm just not studying the process good enough, but I'm finding it very difficult to maneuver that site and upload pages.

I think it is a helpful tool, as Kellie hit on, to take a few minutes after you've posted your pages to leave praise for those around you and others that catch your eye. It helps people become familiar with your name and will then hopefully lead to more hits on your pages and subsequently more comments/exposure.

I've found that in order to get a good number of views at DST and MSA you have to play the praise game. I hate to do it all the time cuz I don't want to look like I'm a praise hog, but I do it for my CT layouts.

I post at MSA, DST and here. I get the most exposure at MSA, even when I don't play the praise game...but it sounds like I may be the exception, rather than the rule. That is my digi home, so that may contribute to the higher exposure. Honestly, I would drop DST if I could find a better gallery to post at. I feel so lost over there - it's just too big. I was considering posting at 2peas as well...just for something different. I had not considered posting at CK, but I might check that out as well.

I post at 2peas (and the digi board seems so ignored there - but if I goof and put it in the regular layout board, I get a lot of views and responses). I do CK as well.

I started posting at CK a few months ago and since then I have won two contests (without even knowing that I had entered them), one of which is resulting in me getting published Although, I don't think it shows you how many views per layout you get.

I get a lot more views at Scrapbook.com than I do at DST or MSA. The one I get the most views at is ScrappersGuide.com. It usually takes a few months to get there, but I usually get 700-800 views per layout. They have an open gallery, put they don't want it used for blatant advertising, so I just list the name of the kit and the designer.

I post here, at DST, MSA, TDC, and sometimes SA and at shop galleries (like SPD and A5D for CT requirements). I have noticed that my views and comments (aka exposure for my designers) at any of the sites is directly related to how much effort I put in to cruising the galleries and commenting myself. In the communities where my "name" is out there and where I have gotten to know people my pages seem to get more notice. I spend a lot of time cultivating views for my pages...so I probably seem like an attention ho, but it's on behalf of my designers more than anything else.

I have recently registerd at scrapinstyleTV and it seems to have a cool, growing digi community there. I have also been thinking of posting at CK to get more exposure for my designers...it's nice to hear the community there is growing too!

(and woot Jenny!!)

I don't get a lot of views at MSA or DST, but I'm pretty happy with ES. The praise posse is very generous and I get lots of views.

I post at DST, MSA and TDC. I also will post at whatever store my LO is for. I get the most exposure at DST, but I play the praise game and leave insane amounts of comments over there. I don't get hardly any at MSA.

I started a 2Peas gallery and I have been adding my hybird projects. I was VERY surprised to get comments

I am thinking about making one at CK too.

Other than here, I post at DST, MSA and now Scrap Orchard. I sometimes post at 2Peas but since they changed their layout a while back I have a hard time navigating the site over there.

I'll have to check out CK and Scrappers Guide.

I rarely get comments at SO. That's more like a back-up for me, like if one of my regular galleries is down. I like ES though... and not just because I'm on the site CT. The praise posse rocks!

ES is open, Lizzy... and you can link.

Well, I've posted 3 layouts there, received a total of 30 views and 3 comments. Seems to be pretty average for my LO's.

I post at SBE for my CT and also try to participate in an occasional challenge. They have a community gallery. You can list the designer/kit name but aren't suppose include any store names in the credits. Have never really considered the number a views on a LO...I'll have to watch that. Mostly I focus on the comments and returning the love.

I know everyone loves to hate on DST, but I far and away get the most views and comments there. Many from the praise game, but many unsolicited too. I'm not one of the super active forum members there and I'm definitely not part of the clique many seem to think is there, but it's my favourite gallery for inspiration and participation. It's a great community if you view it as a hub for the digiscrapping community and utilize it mainly as such.

I don't think it makes you a praise hog to play the praise game. I really enjoy it and see a lot of layouts I wouldn't otherwise. I think I'm a better scrapper for viewing many different types of layouts and analysing each of them to think of an apt comment to post. I also agree with Kellie and others about taking time to comment on the layouts posted around yours when you post in any gallery. I'm a firm believer that if you're posting in any gallery where you have more layouts than comments, you're doing both yourself and that community a disservice. I really believe in paying it forward in any creative endeavor via comments and support for your fellow artists, and view it as a vital part of the creative process to do so. I'm finding it harder to be as active in the various galleries I participate in, and I don't enjoy scrapping as much as a result, so I'm trying to better structure my time to get back to regular gallery surfing and commenting.

MSA seems to go in waves. Sometimes I get a ton of views and comments there, other times my layout goes unnoticed if not for the praise game. Generally, though, things move slower there, and I find the views and comments can lag behind a couple days, or more even, behind the commenting I do. It is still the second most active for me though, in terms of praise and views I get, and I think an important place to participate for exposure.

The DigiChick is pretty good. I need to be more active there again, as I find it quite a rewarding gallery to participate in. I've heard good things about Oscraps too.
