A month ago I changed laptops and so far I have not got started on reorganizing my stash - I have 19.5gb of unzipped files and 74 folders of zipped goodies on my desktop. I have only got the option of using PSE organizer so am needing some good hints or tips as to how to organize well because I am not able to scrap at all with this mess. I can spend hours trying to organize and not seem to get very much achieved. Last time I did the whole reorganizing thing it took me months to get it all finished.

Before I had ACDSee I did organize with my PSE 3 organizer and what I did was (just a sec...let me go open it up...it's been awhile
![]() I have heard of people using the organizer just like ACDSee and "tagging" individual elements and papers but my would run really really slow with just "tagging" the preview of a kit. So I would say that if you have a "nice" (fast and lots of RAM) computer you would probably be able to "tag" each individual item!!! Good luck......it's a daunting task to organize in any method!!! ![]()

I have organized with PSE's organizer before, and tagged each item. It was slow though, but I didn't have a really great computer and maybe (hopefully) it's gotten better since PSE3!

I also have PSE and have never used the organizer for my files, only my photos. I create new folders in my ps and tag them kits, elements, alphas, templates & albums. So when I unzip them I put them in the appropriate folder.
