wii fit
My dh bought me a wii fit for Christmas (I wanted one). I was just wondering how many of you had it...and if you were loosing weight with it.

We got one for Christmas, too. Can't use it yet cause we had to send the Wii back to Nintendo for repair (grumble, grumble). I can't wait to try it out though!

I don't know if you can lose weight on it, but it is a lot of fun. My sister's family has one and we just got one for my parents. You can track your weight and also your flexibility and all sorts of things. So, I would say that if you are someone who is motivated by your stats, it would definitely motivate you to lose weight. We set it up at my parents house yesterday and now my kids are begging for one too. I think that you can even do exercises with friends online if you have their Wii addresses and such.

I've had one for few months. I also go to the gym so I can't say for sure how much weight I have lost because of it but I can swear my balance & posture have improved enormously. I enjoy the yoga, the boxing & the hula hoop
There is a fun group starting up here http://fitness.coolmomguide.com/ centered around WiiFit. They have forums already active but the big site kick off is Jan 3

Santa brought me one as well
 and the whole family has set up their stats and enjoys competing in all the different training events. I am sooooo sooooore, LOL! and I do believe that regular use will help, it is definitely great motivation when I think I'm playing games, not just following an aerobics instructor.

hi!
Oh my, i am at the gym everyday & the wii fit told me i am 54 yrs old! Don't be sad, it's all about balance!
My husband has lost 8 pounds in 2 months...not too bad.

We have one. Since getting it, dh has lost 30+ pounds, and I've lost about 20.

Kristianne - You're so right! If I just think that I'm playing games and not "working out" it so much more fun! I try to aim to do 30 wii minutes of activities each time I'm on and it just flies by because I'm having so much fun!! scrappingsimply - The wii fit age cracks me up. My dd who's 5.5 years old is usually in her 40s according the wii fit! She thinks it's hilarious that she's older than I am  Julie - I'm sure once you use it on a regular basis you'll start seeing results! Mary - Too funny! Did you have BOTH feet on the balance board? Tracie - Good for you girlie (and hubby too)! Deb - Twelve pounds is great! Hope you're feeling better soon so you can get back on and lose some more!!

I sooooo want the Wii Fit. It's my next purchase when I get past all the Christmas expenses. Nice to hear so many of you seem to like it!
