Grr...I got gypped!

I ordered a DS game for my daughter for Valentines Day from Amazon. It came today with nothing wrong with the packaging. I open it and the case has some damage to it with no stickers on the side or a plastic covering. I open it up, and there's the manual, but no frickin' game!! Ugh!! Now I gotta deal with returning it and getting a new one. I also need to get printer ink before I can print out the return paper with the bar code in it. What a hassle! Good thing I ordered it in plenty of time so she'll still get it for Valentine's Day!

Ugh, that is annoying. I returned a video my son got for Christmas that he already had. I returned it like an hour after he opened it and all I did was unwrap it from the wrapping paper. When I got there I guess there was like an inch long tear in the plastic along one seam. She kept inspecting it and re-inspecting it and made a comment. I was like, yes, I unwrapped it, took the stickers off without tearing them, took the DVD out, then put the stickers back on perfectly and reshrink wrapped it, but apparently I forgot one inch. I hope you can get it returned easy enough.

The same thing just happened to me (well, kinda). My daughter received a Baby Alive doll for her birthday on Friday from my parents that was shipped to us straight from Amazon. We opened it up only to find it doesn't work at all. If it makes you feel better, the replacement doll is supposed to arrive on Thursday and I submitted the order yesterday. I was kind of surprised at the quick response. But it is going to be a big pain to send the old one back.

This is a little different but there was an article in our newspaper here that someone bought an mp3 player from walmart and got home, opened it and found ROCKS! Turns out there were 5 of them and someone had returned the packages (resealed with rocks inside) and was given brand spanking new fancier mp3 players.

I'm sorry that you got gypped and I hope your stuff comes soon!

my hubby bought a MP3 player from Costco. It was suppose to be a 4GB one, but the one inside was only a 2 GB one. So someone returned it with the lesser one but got a refund for the full one. Why do people do things like this??? Makes me angery!

I once bought a movie from Walmart only to find it was missing the DVD inside. We just brought it back and they exchanged it for us. (Thank goodness, I had been worried that they'd refuse, but they were very nice about it).

Yeah, I was worried about that too...anyone could just say that it didn't come with the game and get a new one then sell it or something. But I went online and did a return claim or whatever, and they should be sending out the replacement tomorrow. I have 30 days to return the other one otherwise I will be billed for it again.

I am glad they are sending you another one sweety. That would be really crappy if they didnt! I know how dissapointing that must have been for him though poor thing. I bet he was so excited to get it!

Yeah, actually, they aren't LOL I guess they don't have another one to send so they refunded me my money. Yay! Now to find out if I have to send back the empty case!
