Default Is it spring yet??

It is supposed to get super duper cold tomorrow - so cold that they are already calling off school. They don't plan any snow days into the school calendar so each day they have off, school gets extended that much more in the summer. We have had 2 snow days so far. This will make a third.

When will spring be here?

no clue, but it feels like it's here! lol Sorry.
And it is not so normal for us ... I normally have a mountain of snow in my front yard at this time of year, and I don't yet! It keeps melting away. I can even see 3/4 of my driveway, clear of any ice or snow. Very weird.
(although winter doesn't end here until usually May, so this all may change still. hehee)

You're in Wisconsin and you don't have any snow days built in? That's just weird. LOL Our districts here build 3 into the calendar. Any over that have to be made up, but we have 3 to start with.

Totally! That's just stupid, lol! In NY growing up we had 10 built in snow days. If we made it through without using all of them we sometimes got to use one or two anyway. MD gets 5 built in, which is stupid for where Jordan is from because they get ridiculous amounts of snow. But NO snow days in Wisconsin just makes no sense to me whatsoever.

The high here tomorrow is going to be 1 degree F. Yippee.

I think the windchill tonight and tomorrow is anywhere from -10 to -25 degrees F. Double yippee.

I can't remember it being this cold down here in a long, long time.

Same story down here in central IL. No school and negative temps tomorrow. Wish they would cancel work!

I must be a wimp to the cold because I went outside with my husband and I was FREEZING!!! I am watching the news and hear them say it is 65 degrees outside right now. They said we are getting down to the 30's this week and could have some frost.

Spring can't come any too soon here. It's been BELOW ZERO since Monday and isn't supposed to get any warmer until Friday!

Maybe I could send some warm weather your way - it's summer here and right now it's
40 degrees C (104 degree F).

I am sooooo ready for spring! I have had cabin fever since the middle of December. It is supposed to be in the NEGATIVE single digits here tomorrow. It's Nebraska, not the Antarctic! Anyway, I'm ready for tulips and daffodils, and blooming trees, and warmer weather, and spring rains...I can't wait!

Not all schools in WI are like that. Our school district doesn't have many out of towners coming in and there are so many schools that you don't have to travel too far to get there. Surrounding school districts have at least a couple days built in - not us. It is rather stupid.

Although many of the schools are closed already for tomorrow - ours is not - yet. Crossing my fingers that it won't be. I hate having to use a vacation day for a snow day.

We don't have snow days built in here either in ND. Yeah, its been negative teens here for the 3 days now and with windchill its like -45 or more. Its awful. This weekend we are having a heatwave of almost 30 above!

We were in the low 70s here too. Perfect! I went to the store today and was surprised to see they had spring/summer clothing out already. I couldn't resist buying a cute sundress for my daughter...when I got home she put it on with her flip flops and went outside to play.
