Let's talk LOST *Spoilers*
Ok...weather reports here kept interrupting my show and my TIVO didn't record...
How did Ben get beat up? How did Sayid know to get on the flight? (I assume he was with the agent to recreate the original Kate situation?)

2. I don't know. Maybe I should, but I don't. I often miss little bits and pieces...too many kids wanting things even though they SHOULD be asleep  This episode was my favorite in a LONG time! It was SO good!!!!

I don't think they explained either of your questions in detail. I know they didn't say who beat the crap out of Ben. I don't think they said how Sayid ended up on the plane, but then again I was designing and watching it at the same time.
They should have the full episode on their website very soon. Don't they usually have the last few episodes? I know most shows do, but there are a few that don't. I got really pissed one time cuz my DVR didn't record the new "Without a Trace," and their website didn't have full episodes... only clips. Yup I was annoyed. Speaking of which... my DVR decided to flake out again last night and it didn't record the new NCIS. I need to check out their site to see if they have full episodes. I tell ya... I am very close to switching cable companies. I have Cox right now and am not very happy. Verizon (Vios) just entered the cable, cable phone, cable internet market in my area and they seem to have a pretty good deal going on.

Sayid has been arrested and is being escorted somewhere by the chick. Just "happened" to be on the same plane.
As for Ben, he said he was going to fulfill a promise to an old friend. I'm afraid that promise was his promise to Whidmore to kill his daughter Penny.  When he saw Des at the church, he knew Penny was near too. It showed him calling Jack and he was all bloody. I don't know how he got beat up. I hope Des did it and he wasn't able to get to Pen.

Why was he arrested? Did it say?
I'm going to watch the full episode online (well the 10 mins I missed) in a bit... WHen did Whidmore tell Ben to kill Penny? Whidmore told Desmond to keep Penny safe...shrug

Eva, we have verizon fios and we LOVE it. Seriously. We made the switch from comcast 2 years ago and it is SO much better. The internet was faster and we got more cable channels for less money. Not to mention thier browser and thier movie selection for on demand was much better.

I want tp know what happened to aaron. And I am very sad about sun leaving her daughter behind. I know its not a great place for a child to be, but it makes me sad to see them separated. And the clips for next weeks episode where john's alive, well that just gave me goosebumps. He's kind of becoming a christ figure in this show. Very interesting stuff...

I just assume Sayid had been arrested for all the "secret agent killing" he'd been doing.
How funny was it that Hurley bought all the tickets for the flight. Oh and the dude who told Jack he was "sorry about your friend" in line at the airport...I'm thinking he's going to be a new character? I LOVED LOVED this episode. I loved that it started JUST LIKE the very first episode with Jack lying on his back in the jungle. I want to know where Aaron is...someone took him..probably back to the island and that's why she suddenly agreed to go. I LOVED it when the pilot came over the loudspeaker and it was Frank! lol I loved the scene with Ben reading the book on the plane and talking softly to Jack...he's honestly one of the best characters on TV evah!! I loved that scene with the big pendulum swooshing back and forth and Mrs. Hawking telling her story...perfect casting in her role. I can't wait til next week!! So...the end scene with Jin in the Dharma suit...here's what I'm thinking...when Locke turned the big wheel last episode it stopped the time jumps and now they're stuck in the beginnings of the Dharma initiative like in the 70's. That's why we saw Daniel in that scene a couple of weeks ago and would explain why Charlotte saw him as a little girl..the island has stopped moving so the castaways have had time to integrate into the Dharma group. Maybe? of course with this show you never know duh duh duhhh I want Des back on the island!! Gosh I love this show lol! Yeah I'm a nerd

No, the best line was when Jack asks Ben how he can read when they are on the plane and Ben dead pans, "my mother taught me."
I think I snorted soda up my nose on that one. I loved that Hurley bought up all the extra seats in 1st class because he was worried about the plane crashing. I want to know who convinced Hurley to get on the plane. I don't think they said but he was clutching the guitar case like it was important. I completely missed Sayid under arrest. I saw the woman flash her badge but didn't make the connection because my husband was talking to me at the same time and I can't listen to both (I have a hard time hearing when there is too much going on...it just all blurs together in a jumble of nonsense inside my head). I must have looked away or something. I want to know what happened to Aaron. I thought she realized that she HAD to go back to the island (I'm thinking for Sawyer) but her vision of Claire told her not to bring Aaron back so she gave him up which was the hardest thing she could do. I know I was seriously confused when I turned it on. My husband was watching Life while the "previously on Lost" was running and then he said I could switch it and when I did Jack was in the middle of the jungle and I thought I had missed something. Which I found out later was actually how the episode was supposed to make you feel. Oh, and I LOVED that Lapidus was the pilot and when he saw that Jack, Sayid, Kate and the others were on the plane he KNEW that something was up. "We're not going to Guam are we?" But I was wondering if the "flash" dropped Jack and the other survivors on the island as they passed did it take Lapidus, too, and did the plane crash or what. Can't wait for next week.

Thanks for the recaps!!!! I missed the whole last 20mins cause DH sisters called and wished him a happy birthday. And the just talked and talked and talked! They talk all the way through the first 10 minutes of Top Chef!!!!!

And while they were supposed to recreating the original circumstances for the flight, it seems as if they all switched roles. Just my thoughts, but Sayid is obviously in Kate's place Hurley is in Charlie's Kate may be in Claire's (I'm thinking she tried to get pregnant the night before) Jack is in Locke's with the whole faith and adventure thing Locke is in Christian Shephard's place Sun might be in Jack's place with trying to bring Jin home (jack & his dad) I also agree that it seems Ben may have tried to kill Penny Of course, that may explain how Desmond comes back to the island, because you just know he will.I loved this episode, although it raised more questions than it answered!
