Our photoshoot! *****UPDATED WITH PICS****
Avalynne's 1 year photoshoot went really well! I haven't seen any photos but she's going to send me a few sneaks in a couple of days before I get the CD. I think it went well!
The shoot was done in a really old house with awesome dark hardwood floors and lots of natural light. It was completely unfurnished because its for sale, so it was like 1 big studio. She had little "stations" set up for each kind of photo she wanted to do. One was a vintage pink stool that she sat Ava on for a few. Another was a purple fur with angel wings and white feather boas (which Ava loved, lol), and the 3rd was a chair draped with a pink throw and flowers, which was sat beside a window. Ava mostly stared at the camera, but got into the whole thing near the end. It went very well, except 1 minor incident where she fell off the chair and hit her head (she was caught so she didn't hit the floor hard). Of course, that was at the beginning so she had a scratch on her chin and a red bump on her forehead for the majority of the shoot, lol! But the photographer told me she'd just brush them out (and she felt really bad, but what can you do? We didn't realize Ava would vault off the chair to catch a fallen of crown, lol). Anyways, I am super excited to see my sneaks and get my CD!!! Sneaks should be here within a day or two, and the CD in 2-3 weeks. She took something like 300 pics she said, so it'll be awhile I think, lol! Oh, and I decided to wear my cream shirt and DH to wear his brown. I happened to come across a top in Ava's closet that was brown AND cream flowers, and it tied us together perfectly! I told the photographer that we had almost wore red, and she was glad we chose the other... she hates the way red reflects on faces when photos are taken indoors! So I guess I made the right choice in the end!

Oh, it sounds like it went so well! I am glad. And, it sounds like your photographer really knows what she is doing. I can't wait to see how they turned out. I am sure they will be perfect!
