Bummer...I just saw that it was out and wondered if it was any good. What didn't you like about it?

Story is slow and very cryptic from A to B. I love a good thriller/mystery but this movie just didn't live up to the hype for me at all. I wasn't interested enough in the storyline so it was just painful to watch. You have to wait to until the end to know the reason why and by that time I had no interest in the characters to care really. I hate movies that don't envoke emotion in me.

Really? It was hands-down, my favorite movie I've seen in a long time, for me! I loved the intricate story line and the subtlety. I loved that I was able to figure out what was going on about 2/3 of the way through but that I was able to still have surprises at the end. I loved the raw emotion and the complex characters.

I know what it's like to be disappointed by a movie, though, and that stinks! Sorry about that!

LOL, never even heard of it. No big surprise since I've only been to maybe 3 or 4 movies since Rachel was born, and they've all involved talking vegetables or animals.

After 10 mins I had the movie figured out, DH hates how I figure out the plots so quickly. This movie just bored me to tears, sorry for those of you that liked it.

I know- since half are saying it's great & half are saying it's bad, I've gotta see it for myself now!!!! But I'll probably wait until it comes out on video & rent it, so if I'm disappointed, I'd only have spent a few dollars on it!

Thanks for the input ladies!

I'm really on the fence about it. On one hand - its AMAZING.. but on the other hand it goes against things I personally believe in so I'm just not sure. I'd love to say more but I don't want to give away any spoilers because part of the movie is just that it keeps you wondering.

oh yea.. and i have to become kristin again.. drats. LOL

I wanna see it. All Will Smith has to do is simply exist, and I'm there.

I'm not a big Will Smith fan either... so I'm doubting I'll see it anyway

We just watched this Saturday night and I thought it was just a plain bad movie. The story itself, while completely improbable, was not a bad one, I just hated how it was told. I agree that I didn't care a bit about any of the characters because of that. DH agreed.

I had to go rent Seven Pounds last night, and OMG. It was so tragic and beautiful, and I think it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Two thumbs up, for sure!

Watching Bedtimes Stories right now.
