It was good..I have to say I was a tiny bit disappointed in the whole "judgement scene" with Ben...it seemed kind of anitclimatic after the buildup to it. But the heiroglyphics were interesting.

I was totally surprised when Ben shot Cesar...I thought he was in for a recurring role for a while...and Ilana?...so is she an Other you think? or working for Whidmore? and what the heck is in that silver box?

I was glad to see that Ben didn't kill Penny although I'm not sure now how they'll get Des back to the island...it totally disproves my theory that he'd go back to kill Ben in revenge for Penny's death. Still it was fun to see Des beat the holy heck out of Ben.

I think there may have been some symbolism (yeah how deep am I lol) in Ben telling Sun that "what is about to come out of that jungle, I can't control" and then who do we see..not Smokey...Locke. and their scenes following that kind of proved his statement true...Locke's in charge now and for Ben that just plain sucks.

I will say this too...Ben would have had to shoot me dead before I would have let him take my baby away...just like that..maybe we have to chalk it up to Danielle being all "insane" like they said, but no way would I have just sat there and watched him walk away with her...gun or no gun.

I only half watched...was flipping to idol at the same time and need to rewatch..I missed the whole desmond/ben scene although I had a theory that's who had beat him up

I know I was flipping too, so I must have missed the silver box thing and Ilana.....but I like the look on Locke's face thru the whole show, like finally he was a step ahead of Ben finally!!!!

I am not sure about Ilana yet....I think maybe she is with Whidmore?? but I am not sure....obviously something is going on and we gotta find out what's in the box and wth is in the shadow of the statue!

I agree with the symbolism with Locke coming out of the jungle. I think that Ben was lying to Locke when he said that he knew locke would come back to life...and I think he was being honest with Sun when he told her he was scared and didn't understand how it happened.

I'm with you on Daneille and Alex too. It's so bizarre that she put up no fight...after killing all of her team and stuff, we know she can be tough!

I just loved that Ben was so vulnerable through the whole episode.

It was also pretty cool to see Whidmore on the island and how he was booted off...pretty cool story line with that one.

I think it's especially interesting that most of the things that Charles was banished for, Ben has done too (leaving the island and stuff...) I am anxious to see how he got from the guy that banished Charles for breaking rules to the guy that breaks all the rules.....

Yes Ben APPEARS "defeated", but I think we've learned to never trust him in any situation lol...he may have some tricks up his sleeve that we don't know about.
