Default Is there a way (PSE or CS3)???

I am scanning negatives...I have notebooks full of negatives...some scanned...some not.

When I used to take my negatives in to get scanned and make a "preview" sheet...that was really cool. Easy to flip through the notebook and see what is on the negatives.

I would guess 90% of my negatives don't have these...is there an EASY WAY to make a "contact" sheet (maybe with the negative number below it) to print out and put in front of each set of negatives?

I have PSE (4 or maybe 5...can't remember) and CS3.

If you want to see an example of what I am talking about...LMK...

Thanks.

I think both programs will do it...in CS2 it's under File > Automate > Contact Sheet II

I tried out the contact sheet feature direct from Adobe Bridge recently. Works really well.
