Default what do you use for scrapping?

Im just curious what program you use to scrap with? I use PSP XI but I started out with Photo Explosion Deluxe then went to Scrapbook Factory Deluxe. Neither of them offered all the options I needed/wanted and Scrapbook Factory really slowed my computer way down.

I started with PSE (the very original, lol), moved to PSE2, then PSE3, then PSCS, then CS2. I'm not going to upgrade until I get my Mac...then I'll have to get CS4 or CS5, depending on what is out when I get it, lol!

Even though I do have PSE6 loaded on Dh's laptop. I am still scrapping with (and loving) my PSE3 that I bought way back in 2003/2004 before I even knew what Digiatl Scrapbooking was!!!

I have PS CS3, I had CS2 and PS 7 before that. I use it for work, so I use it for scrapping! I won't be upgrading to CS4, I'm going to wait now, until CS5 comes out.

I started with Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 3.0...that was before I knew that there was any such thing as online digi communities!
Now I use PSE 5.0 (on laptop), PSE 7.0 (desktop), and I also have CS3 (laptop), but I rarely use it...I don't like not having the photo bin at the bottom!

Well when I first started digi scrapping, I used PSE4. Then I upgraded to PSE5 and used that until I started designing. Now I use CS4 and wouldn't trade it for anything. I scrap and design with it. Love it!

PSP X2. I have PS CS3 too b/c the "text in a path" function (PSP just don't get this thing right), but I feel like cheating PSP when I try to make a page on PS and I take double of time to do it. So PSP always win LOL

I've been using CS2 since I started. Eventually, I'll upgrade to the latest and greatest PS software, but not this year.

I use Memory Mixer 3. Artistic design is not my gift. I decided that telling the stories and concentrating on the photos was my goal. Memory Mixer helps me to do that easily and quickly. And version 3 makes it even easier to use all of my wonderful purchases from the Sweet Shoppe. For the most part I can do everything I want. I only wish I could use some of the templates that the designers create here. That would make things even easier.

It also looks like with this latest version of Memory Mixer that I can add videos to my scrapbook that will now play automatically. That is what sold me on the software in the first place even though it never really worked as I wanted in earlier versions (but the promise of the possibility got me hooked). I've played around a little with adding the video to version 3 and it is automatically playing on my computer (in earlier versions I would have to click on a "hot spot" but that was no good because I wanted to give copies of the memories to my mom who does not use computers).

For years I have taken video at the amusement park when the kids were on the kiddie rides, my grandma doing the chicken dance at my sister's wedding, etc. I will have to convert the film video to digital but then it looks like I can add it right to the scrapbook. It's worked great with the video that I have from my digital camera.

It really is powerful software designed for the beginning user.

I started on PSE4, then when my new computer didn't like it (my new computer has Vista...and it messed up PSE4 all the time), I bought PSE6. I hated it...with a passion! So, I upgraded to CS4, and I'm loving it once I figured a few things out!!

I started with PSP v5!!!! I used PSP up through PSPX (all while using PS7 for brushes and such) then had a chance to upgrade to CS2 for $200. I did that and basically never turned back. I'm now running CS4 on my laptop and CS2 on my desktop.

I've been using PSP 8. I just got PSE 6 a few days ago. I'm going through some tutorials now trying to learn how to use it.

I started out with PSE 4, then went to 5, and now I'm on 7 and really find it easy to use! But......I sense an upgrade in my future to CS5 sometime after it comes out......(I think I'm ready, I think I'm ready.....)

I use Photo Impact X3. I started with 8, went to 10, and upgraded to X3 when I got Vista. I've done trials of PSE since it seems like everyone else scraps with PSE or PS, but I just don't like it as much as PI. I've never tried regular PS since it's out of my price range.

I use two programs for scrapping. If I am just making a one page layout, I will use PSE. If I am creating an entire book, I will use Heritage Makers.

I started on PS7, but couldn't get the hang of it. I got myself PSE3 and used that until last year when DH bought my PSE6. I really like it, and have no reason (besides wanting to do custom text paths & blocks) to switch to CS... too expensive, and I can't justify it!

I use CS3 and CS4. I've got Cs4 installed on the desktop, but my laptop is struggeling with CS3 so I guess there is no hope with CS4, I haven't even bothered trying to upgrade it.

I use PSE6 and like it - though I'm sure I only use about 50% of its capabilities. I need read the 'how to' one day and stop winging it.

dang I thought for sure there were more PSP users. I started out on PSP 5 I think. I didnt use it much though and when I got a new computer I bought PSP XI as a birthday present for myself. That was over 2 years ago. I cant imagine using anything else. Im sure photoshop is more powerful and has alot that I cannot do but I love PSP and dont plan on switching anytime soon LOL

I started out with PSE 5, upgraded to PSE 6 when it came free with my tablet and then upgraded to CS4 late this past spring. I love it - even though I'm sure I'm still only using about 1/10 of the program capabilities.

I use PSE 6. I LOVE PSE! I used the trial version of PSE 7 and it is better though. There are three glitches on PSE 6 that make it slower to work. One, the layers don't merge with the CTRL+G function, you have to select Layers>Group With Previous. So annoying. Two, it won't nudge, unless you've adjusted the size of the element and haven't checked the green arrow yet. And three, you can't drag elements from your project bin, up to your LO. You have to have the element open and drag it down to the LO in the project bin. These are all annoying but I have gotten use to it.

If anyone is looking to buy PSE though, I recommend PSE 7, or searching for a version of PSE 5 that will be much cheaper. I wouldn't get PSE 6.

I tried to teach myself PSP with the Paint Shop Pro in 24 hours book...fell asleep a couple times after the 2nd chapter and gave up. Then I bought Renee Pearson's book and it taught me PSE...so I used PSE for a couple of years...and now I use CS3.
