Default new fall shows

Which show/s are you most looking forward to seeing this fall? (or which returning show are you most excited about?)

I CANNOT wait to see Vampire Diaries!!! It looks really good. Aside from that I also cannot wait to see what happens next on Desperate Housewives. It is so funny because my husband complains about me watching it but every week he is right there beside me watching it too.

I'm looking forward to the new Vampire Diaries too! It looks really good, I've read the first two books already so I'm all set to watch now! Also the new Melrose Place and I'm ready for 90210 to come back on too!

I didn't know about the books either...What network is going to run the series?

I love Desperate Housewives, but I love Brothers & Sisters even more! It's our Sunday night date night I haven't really paid much attention to what's coming up and they haven't quite started to bombard us with constant previews yet.

I think it is going to be on Channel 18 here. That is either CW or WB?? They keep changing the name of the channel so I cannot remember what it is called LOL. It is the channel that Smallville, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and 90210 are on.

Ive watched Brothers and Sisters occasionally but honestly I find it kinda hard to follow because I havent seen all of them. Desperate Housewives is defenitely one of my all time favorite shows though!! I cannot wait to find out about Tom and Lynette's babies. She is supposed to be pregnant with twins from what I can remember of the last show I watched

I'm super psyched abt two NEW shows that have NOTHING to do with (a) cops, (b) hospitals, and/or (c) lawyers AND are NOT reality shows! Woot woot!

'Glee' (FOX) looks amazing, and I can't wait for 'Community' (NBC) to start, too. DH and I love Joel McHale and are excited he's getting a chance to star in a show on one of the big networks.

I'm also looking forward to new eps of 'The Big Bang Theory,' 'How I Met Your Mother,' 'Terms of Engagement,' and 'SNL' (though I don't know how ANY future 'SNL' kit can top Justin's great-grandfather sketch where he calls out Britney *lol*).

I'm stoked for Grey's, NCIS, Private Practice, Brother's and Sisters, Bones, and The Mentalist to come back. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. I have a LOT of tv I like to watch while I'm crafting, LOL!

I'm stoked for Glee. Haven't quite been bombarded yet by other new shoes. But Glee looks AWESOME. I'll probably give NCIS: LA a try too.

I haven't heared of several of the shows - but really look forward to new Bones. Vampire Diaries is new to me (book and show) - is it anything like True Blood?, 'cos thats just started here.

I like NCIS - is the original series finishing hence the spin off? Or are both going to run together like CSI.

How do you find out what is coming out? Guess I don't watch enough live tv to catch the trailers (or whatever you call them). I am at a total loss for what to watch.

Pitchmen obviously is not going to be continuing...unless they added someone with Sully to do the show...and I've kinda fallen out of the habit watching Gary Unmarried...so I'm clueless.

Course once Robotics hits this fall we are busy on Monday, Thursday, and Friday nights...plus on Saturday daytime. Unless we tape and watch on dh's tv...there won't be much time to watch.

dh and Brian just started watching something on the SyFy (?) channel called Warehouse 13...I watched it with them last night (they had taped it) and it was interesting...so maybe?

It's on the CW here. The books are by LJ Smith and are YA books, the first couple of books were written in the early 90's & then the newest book in 2007 and there are a couple more in the works I think. Just from reading the first 2 and watching the preview trailers on the CW's site, I can tell the show is not following the books exactly so you don't have to read them to understand the show.

I have grown so addicted to TV this past year. I didn't watch anything about a year ago, and now there's something almost every night.

New shows I can't wait to watch -- Glee, the new NCIS:LA and Flash Forward (by the LOST guys). Old shows I can't wait to return -- LOST, SYTYCD, NCIS, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Mentalist. I also watch all 3 CSI versions, but those will probably go on DVR and I'll watch them on the weekends. They just don't hold my attention like the other shows.

Oh and Fringe!! I can't WAIT for Fringe to come back!!

NCIS is still going strong. They just finally decided to add a spin off series. They did a 2 episode tie in with the original to introduce the characters and stuff towards the end of this season. It looks like it could be good, but they don't have Mark Harmon (*swoon*). I'm not sure what night it's going to run, but it'll be just like the CSI shows.

Man that whole 1 1/2 hours was SO funny! I *loved* the "Bring it on down to Plasticville!" skit. lol Before all of those Justin Timberlake skits the "Peter Sarsgaard brand SARSguard" was my favorite. I'm cracking up just thinking about it.

I ♥ SNL

I've not yet seen Glee, but it's just my kind of show, so I'm looking forward to that.

Just saw a preview of HOUSE last night and can't wait for that 2-hour premiere!

Also, Desperate Housewives, and of course SYTYCD will also be on this fall. Yay!

I have read the Vampire Diaries series (if it is the same one). They were very good and I really enjoyed reading them. I hope that the network doesn't do to Vampire Diaries what HBO did to TrueBlood (where the storyline is soooo completely different than the Sookie books). Don't get me wrong.... I watch TrueBlood every week, but I get confused between what is happening on there and what is happening in the book (since it is so different).

I am also looking forward to the new seasons of:
Heroes
Lost
House
Desperate Housewives
Mentalist
NCIS

Other great shows that have already started their new seasons (most on USA and TNT):
Burn Notice
The Closer
Saving Grace (Holly Hunter is fabulous in this series)
Leverage
Dark Blue (a new series: I watched the pilot and it was really good)

I love tv- I'm bad I know, but I admit, I LOVE it! And tivo just makes it better--- not sure what new shows I'll watch, but I usually tivo the first few to see if I'll like it. I remember hearing about Lost when it premiered and was on my way out, but thought I'll tivo it just in case... It's great to start watching a show in the beginning...

Going to be looking for ideas here...

The only new show that sounded interesting to me is Warehouse 13 and it started a couple weeks ago. Eureka, No Reservations and Leverage started their new season then as well.

Torchwood is running a special now on BBC America and who knows when we might get another new Dr Who 'special', which bums me out.

I am looking forward to a new episodes of Castle & Big Bang Theory too.

Me too! I can't wait for more Pacey on telly (even though he's not, but still..). And Dexter - it will be cool to see how they deal with him as a dad. And House, and Greek (is that even on in the fall?), and Greys and Brothers and Sisters. And pretty much every thing else.
