Default Project 365... who is still on board?

Ugh! Just like MANY things in my life, my project 365 started off with a bang! I did a picture EVERY DAY and even scrapped it!

Now here it is AUGUST, and it has completely gone away! Forget to take photos, and scrapping it? NOPE!

How many of you are still at it. I need some motivation!

*sits on hands in embarassment* I'm not
I AM however planning on restarting in October and doing a project to ducment our first year of marriage Either as a daily photo, or as a weekly layout. I haven't decided yet.

I know Tracy (tracyfish) is still doing it!

I'm at it, but only have been since July 31st. Haven't been much posting them though. I'm doing the last year of my twenties.

It's been tough, but yep I'm still at it. I can't wait to have my printed book at the end of year to look back on.

I have a friend who just started it with her son's 4th birthday to document a year in his life. I thought that was a pretty cool way to do it too.

Not me! I did it for about two months and got really bored. I found myself finding a picture to take late at night so it was a picture just to have a picture, nothing meaningful whatsoever. I had even scrapped up to that point too, but yeah, I knew I was already struggling, it would only get worse!

I'm totally into taking a photo a day... I get so excited thinking what is going to be the photo of the day... like today is recycling day... so I took a photo of them picking it up at the end of the driveway... the really cool thing is that something more exciting may come up today... but granted something as boring as recycling happens every other week I should document the everyday stuff for the future... in 5 years, will we still have curb pick up, or will we have to take our trash to the dump??? How much does it cost on taxes? The project also has forced me to get out of the house... really important since now I'm a SAHM and becoming more shy...

However... scrapped? Yeah, I've done like the first 4 weeks...and they mock me, waiting for their turn to be locked into pages and ready for print...

Yeah, I started out excited. This was the year I was going to do it and then I started missing days. So I turned it into the 1 photo a week plan. And then...well, let's just say maybe next year.

Occasionally I'll go check out Tracyfish's layouts and all I can think is "Girl, You Rock!" You are my Project 365 inspiration.

Thanks! I tend to somewhat be a quitter if something seems too tough so my goal this year was if nothing else to finish the 365. I'm making myself keep up with the LOs or else there is no way I would do them all at the end of the year. I still have all my 25 days of Christmas pics from last year that I never even started a book for sitting on my hard drive.

I started off the year and I think lasted a week...BUT I have made it a point to take a pic of DD everyday of her first year so at a year old I'll have 365 days of Emily

I'm actually really proud of myself!! I've kept up with both Project 365 and my 365 days of Claire. My P365 blog is only updated through like august 4th, but I have all of the pictures ready to post. I can't believe I've taken a picture everyday for nearly 9 months.

Here's my p365 blog: http://www.lauriesphotoaday.blogspot.com

I'm still doing it. I'm having upload issues for the past month so my flickr photostream isn't always as upto day as it could be. I dropped the scrapping part & am assembling a blurb photobook as I go instead, like I did last year.

I"m still doing it as well. I was one of the regular daily posters but since going back to work full time after my maternity leave, i just don't have the time to do it daily. I am not as current with my weekly layouts though but I've got all my pictures and have kept a good record of my notes on my planner and stuff of daily stuff we do.

I do have Monday off since it's the first day of school so I plan to work on the my weekly layouts then and catch up ... or not be AS behind as I am now.

I think it will make an awesome book and we're more than 1/2 way there, so it's a great thing for me.

I lasted about 4-5 months. But in the end, I was really struggling and just decided it was not worth it anymore. What I photographed the most was food. Guess I don't have an exciting life!

I'm still going! I started Jan. 1 and posted every day for awhile...but then things of course got crazy with the impending arrival of baby Ella and I stopped posting online. Once she was born, I changed from a more general/babyelated 365 to all photos of her. I try to journal a little bit each day with the photos, but sometimes, it's weekly or biweekly...LIFE! Still I love that she'll have one photo for each day of her first year...maybe beyond, or until she insists I stop taking so many photos of her. LOL

I'm still doing it, and loving it too. I don't upload a photo a day, just the completed layouts. I do either a one or two page layout each week, and vary the layout design, kit and colours depending how I feel. I think this is a big reason for what has kept me interested.

You can see my layouts on my blog (mixed in amongst all my other stuff), or in my DST gallery. I don't upload them here because I use different kits each week, most often not SSD.

Wow, I'm impressed by those of you that have kept up with it since January!

I restarted mine at the beginning of June. I'm planning on doing a "year in a deployed life" documenting what my year is like with the hubby gone. I haven't gotten any layouts done although I've got in my head what I want them to look like, but I have been trying to take daily photos and/or screenshots.

One thing I really like about Project 365 is I find myself wanting to get out and do more so that I can have more interesting photos. That's partly why I wanted to do it while my DH was deployed because I hoped it would encourage me to get out more and not sit around my house all bored, haha. We'll see how it goes when I get back to CO but I'm excited to see how this project progresses. Now if I could just manage to clear enough space off my computer so I could actually get all my photos uploaded.

I started January 1 and I am still doing it but quit posting pictures everyday a long time ago. I am getting way behind on scrapping the pictures...I accidently skipped a day way back in May when I was scrapping a week, so I had to redo some layouts..I am trying really hard to get caught up. I think I am going to have a mommy day really soon so I can get them up to date!!! I am doing it for BOTH boys so it is extra hard. I think next year I am doing a 52 photo project so i am not so overwhelmed doing two!!!

I did miss ONE day of pictures. I had my eyes dilated and couldn't see a darn thing....DH didn't think about taking pictures for me

Your DH should've taken a picture of you with your dilated eyes!

I am in the group that didn't keep up with it. Since 9 hours of my day are spent at work, it didn't leave much time for anything exciting to happen to take a picture of. I would end up with a lot of the same type of photos and also finding myself panicing at the end of the day to try and get a photo to fill my quota.

I'm still in it and I've blogged every day this year! (Link in my siggie.)
It is a lot of work, but so worth it. Like Lynnette was saying, I do a lot more fun things so that I'll have non-boring photos. (Although, I do have a lot of food photos, it seems...)
I can't wait to have 365 days of photos and blogposts all documented at the end of the year. I'm also going to do a Blurb book of my weekly layouts and blog posts.
Although, I've fallen behind on the weekly layouts. I need to get on that!

I am so sad that I fell off the boat with the daily pics I really wanted to try to stick to it. Oh well, I shall try next year!
